About M.Sc. genetics and plant breeding at RNB Global University.

Placements: College had a particular placement cell which regularly organizes campus drives, industry interaction sessions, and workshops. University collaborated with agri-tech firms, SEED companies, research labs, and government institutions for internships and job placements. College placed as research associate, lab technician, and quality analyst.

Infrastructure: College had a great infrastructure. There were smart classes with research laboratories for genetics and biotechnology, and they were well-equipped with PCR machines, centrifuges, laminar flow hoods, and microscopes. Library included e-journals, the latest research papers, and textbooks.

Faculty: Here, faculty members were well-experienced and highly qualified. Professors were well qualified and were actively involved in teaching as well as research and publication. They helped us not only in academics but also in building research skills and writing scientific papers.

Other: I always wanted to do this course as I was fascinated to find out how plant genetics plays a role in breeding. The growing stress of food security and climatic changes makes me curious to help out with developing plant genetics in a way that solve the problem. The best thing about the course was that it upgraded my curiosity with proper backing of accurate knowledge. The combination of lab work and field experiments provided holistic learning, and the interaction with faculty members and guest lectures from industry experts kept the curriculum dynamic and updated.
