Sandip University BTech programme is not available through direct admission, given the eligibility criteria which requires valid scores for merit and entrance. Admission to any of the specialisations of BTech requires a valid JEE Main score. Therefore, candidates must meet the cutoff list of JEE Main and qualify through merit for the admission process further on.

The university itself mentions being awarded THIRD POSITION as NEWLY EMERGENT YOUNG UNIVERSITIES across India in 2019.

However, Sandip University is ranked 671st in India and 10687th in the world in its 2024 overall rankings.

For the current academic year, Sandip University cutoff list has not yet been made public. It is recommended to stay informed about the release of the cutoff marks for different program such as the B.Tech and MBA, by often visiting Sandip University official website or getting in touch with the institution directly. Cutoff lists are usually made public following the announcement of the Result of entrance tests such as the CAT, XAT, MAT, CET, or SU-MAT.

Candidates can secure a direct admission by qualifying few easy steps of the eligibility criteria. Sandip University considers merit and entrance results to provide admission for any programme. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate in Class 12 from a recognised board such as PUC/ ISC/ CBSE or equivalent to seek admission in any of the UG- level programme. Furthermore, to gain admission in PG-level programme, candidates must obtain 50% aggregate in graduation. Courses such as BTech and MBA consider valid scores for the admission, besides merit. Candidates must secure a valid score in CAT/ SAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ EMAT to qualify for MBA and JEE Main for BTech.  

The tuition fees for B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering is INR 1.05 Lakh per year. However, candidates must note the other expenses apart from the tuition fees, that are a part of the fee structure such as the one time fees for forms, prospectus and hostel security deposit. Additionally, the fee structure includes expenses of some other components such as hostel fees, uniform cost, university caution money and a few more.
