Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS) offers a variety of scholarships depending on extracurricular and academic accomplishments rather than a universal 100% scholarship. Students who have qualified for JEE-Main or have achieved 80% or higher in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible for a 50% fee scholarship offered by the institution. Based on their degree of accomplishment, SIMATS offers scholarships ranging from 10% to 50% of tuition fees in recognition of students' excellence in sports. Athletes competing at the national level are eligible for a 50% scholarship, those competing at the state, district, and zonal levels for 25%, and 10% of the scholarships, respectively.
Here are the last dates for applying to SIMATS into various courses:
- MBA: 2nd week of March 2024 is the deadline for online applications.
- The 4th week of April 2024 is the deadline for BDS online applications.
- B.Tech: The first week of May 2024
- The 1st week of June 2024 is the deadline for M.Tech applications.
- 2024, B.Sc. Nursing: before July 2
- The 3rd week of May 2024 is the deadline for MDS applications.
The cut-off list date varies depending on the type of entrance exam and the programme. The cut-off will be released after the results of the entrance exams. For example. for B.Tech it is TNEA, For MBA it is TANCET, For M.Sc it is NEET-SS or NEET MDS.
The cut-off will be released course-wise after the release of the entrance exam results.
