SGT University Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

SGT University offers courses at UG, PG, diploma and doctoral levels. The courses include MBA, BPharm, BTech, BDS, MDS, etc. The programmes are offered in streams, such as Engineering, Management, Science, Arts, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 to apply for UG courses and graduation for PG programmes.  

SGT University offer two-year MBA programme across different specialisations. The admission is granted on merit-basis and it may select based on CUET-PG scores. Some of the offered course specialisations are:

• MBA in Fashion Management
• MBA in Pharmaceutical Management, etc.

Definitely, one can pursue B Pharma after completing D Pharma. The process is slightly different in terms that once a candidate completes a D Pharma, instead of taking admission to B Pharma directly and starting from the first year, the candidate can take admission to lateral entry. In this case, the candidate has to take admission in 2nd year and then the B Pharma shall be of three-year duration. This is a popular method of pursuing a B Pharma, wherein the candidates wish to expand their knowledge base as well as pursue a higher degree in Pharmacy.

Candidates need to fill the NEET application form online. Morever, candidates need to pay the NEET form fees online through credit card/ debit card, net banking or UPI. In case of any technical or server issues, candidates can visit the Common Service Centres (CSC).

SGTU MBBS cutoff list is prepared as per the applicants NEET score. The cutoff is the minimum exam score required for a candidate to become eligible for admission to the course. Additionally, it can also be candidates rank in the national-level exam. In 2021, the last round closing rank was 287374 for the general All-India category candidates.

National Testing Agency re-commenced CUET 2026 registration on February 23, 2026. Soon after the release of the CUET notification, candidates can check the important dates about CUET 2026. The last date for CUET 2026 registration was February 26, 2026 (11.50 PM).

Candidates were required to fill the CUET application form within the given time frame, failing which no request for extension of the CUET registration last date will be entertained. NTA does not provide the window for late fee payment. CUET 2026 application process is in online mode. No physical copies of the CUET application form must be sent to the authorities.

The fee structure for the MBA programme at SGT University for the 2023-2024 session is as follows:

• Total Tuition Fees: INR 4.63 Lakhs for the entire duration of the 2-year program.
• 1st Year Fees: INR 2.63 Lakhs

For the MBA programme at SGT University, the university accepts scores from the following entrance exams:

CAT: Common Admission Test

MAT: Management Aptitude Test

XAT: Xavier Aptitude Test

The admission process for SGT University is as follows:

Visit the SGT University website for registration.

Register on the SGT University registration page.

Confirm your Programme/Specialisation, generate your brochure number, and proceed to payment.

Once registered, pay a registration fee of Rs.2100/-.

After successful registration, a confirmation message is sent through SMS/E-mail.

Personal Interview (PI) will be conducted online (via a Zoom call).

If eligible, you will proceed for online provisional admission.

The admission criteria for the BPharm course is merit-based. Candidates are shortlisted based on score in the last qualifying exam followed by a interview round. Moreover, the university may also accept CUET scores for selection. Before applying, aspirants must check out the eligibility criteria. The aspirants who are Class 12 pass with PCM/PCB subjects with 60% aggregate can apply. Additionally, applicants age must be 17 years or older on Dec 31. The eligible students can register and apply. After selection, the fee payment can be done for seat confirmation.

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at SGT University is a 66 months course at the UG level. The course offers admission to 150 students. The total tuition fee for SGT University Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is INR 62.82 Lakh. Apart from the tuition fee, there is a one-time admission fee of amount INR 2.02 Lakh, and a hostel fee of amount INR 6.30 Lakh that students are required to pay in addition to the tuition fee. To get admitted to SGT University Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course, applicants must meet the entry requirements - 50% in Class 12.

SGT University Gurgaon shall follow the seat reservation policy as prescribed by the government of Haryana. As per an old notification, the university reserve 25% of seats for candidates belonging to the state of Haryana. Out of this, 10% are reserved for SC Haryana state candidates. Moreover, the total number of seats available for the course is 150.

This course curriculum is inclusive of subjects releated to the field of Microbiology. The curriculum include both theory and practical subjects. Some of the subjects included in SGT University BSc Microbiology course are:

SGT University admit candidates to MBBS course based on merit in NEET exam. The candidates with a score equal to or more than cutoff marks become eligible for admission. Apart from this it is also necessary that the aspirants meet the course-specific eligibility criteria. The SGT University MBBS admission procedure is as follows:

Step 1: Application form filling

Eligible candidates can visit the university website or admission office to get the application form. The application must be submitted on or before the deadline.

Step 2: Shortlisting of students

In the next step, applications are shortlisted based on merit in NEET exam.

Step 3: Counselling

Selected candidates have to then participate in the counselling round. In this admission round, document verification and seat allotment is done.

To take BTech admission at SGT University applicants must pass Higher Secondary with at least 45% marks with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology. For SGT University BA admission, aspirants must be fulfilling the course-specific eligibility requirements. The aspirants who are Class 12 or equivalent exam pass and studied English as a subject from a recognised board with the required minimum aggregate can apply. As per the 2024 brochure, the minimum aggregate for the BA and BA (Hons) courses range from 55% to 60% aggregate. Candidates must check that they fulfil the eligibility criteria and hold the relevant documents as well. The documents are required by the authorities for verification purposes. 

There are a total of 46 seats for MDS courses at SGT University. Candidates are admitted to each programme as per the sanctioned seat intake. The maximum seat count is six and the minimum is two for the prorgammes. Mentioned below is the seat intake for some of SGT University MDS specialisations:

There are over 50 seats for BA programmes offered by SGT University. The seat allotment process is carried out as per the sanctioned seat intake and reservation policy of the university. There are 25% of seats reserved for students belonging to the state of Haryana at the university. Out of this, 10% are for students belonging to Haryana state SC category candidates. In order to secure admission in a reserved seat, the aspirants have to submit the relevant documents for the same.

There are a total of 825 seats for BSc courses at SGT University. The seat intake varies for each of the course specialisation. Students are admitted as per the selection criteria and sanctioned seat count. Moreover, the maximum number of seats are for BSc in Agriculture - 120 followed by Nursing and Clinical Psychology - 100. It must be noted that the seat intake mentioned here is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is however, subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
