SGT University BAMS Eligibility & Highlights 2025
SGT University BAMS is a five-and-a-half-long course, which includes a one-year internship. This UG-level course is offered through the medical sciences department of the university. For SGT University BAMS course admission, candidates' scores in the NEET exam are taken into consideration. Further, the seats are allocated through a centralised counselling process.
For BAMS at SGT University, aspirants are advised to first the eligibility requirements. The minimum educational qualification required for NEET is as follows:
Eligibility Criteria: Aspirants must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam with at least 50% aggregate (45% for General-PWD and 40% for reserved categories). Additionally, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects should have been studied individually in Class 12.

NEET MDS is a computer-based exam of three hours duration with two time-bound sections. Part A was for 75 minutes and had 100 questions. Part B had 140 questions to be solved in105 minutes. The timing of the exam was 2 PM to 5 PM. There were a total of 240 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the NEET MDS syllabus. No. NEET PG 2025 exam was held on August 3, 2025 in single shift. On May 30, 2025, Supreme Court directed NBe to make arrangements to conduct exam in single shift. The registrations on the university's official website begin around March/April. Aspirants have to submit their applications on or before the prescribed deadline. STEP 1: SGT University BAMS Application Process 2025
The university accepts applications in both online and offline modes. To fill out the application in offline mode, aspirants can visit the university website to collect the admission form. Further, the steps to be followed for filling out the SGT University BAMS application form in online mode are:
Step 1.1: Visit the university's official website (https://sgtuniversity.ac.in/index).

STEP 2: Shortlisting of Students
In the next step, the applications are shortlisted based on NEET score. The university may release a merit/selection list to declare the names of the selected students.
STEP 3: Seat Allotment, Fee Payment & Admission Confirmation

Yes, candidates need to have a valid NEET score for admission to BAMS course at SGT University. NEET is a mandatory entrance exam for students who wish to pursue a career in medicine in India. As per the regulations set by the Ministry of AYUSH, it is mandatory for students to have qualified in NEET, in order to be eligible for admission to BAMS courses. Therefore, it is not possible to pursue a BAMS course without appearing for NEET.

Yes, the NEET 2025 exam pattern was changed. NTA announced the change in the exam pattern on January 25, 2025, to enable candidates prepare accordingly. The optional questions were removed. Instead of 200 questions, there were 180 questions. The total duration of NEET 2025 was reduced from 200 minutes to 180 minutes or three hours now.
