SGT University BAMS Eligibility & Highlights 2025
SGT University BAMS is a five-and-a-half-long course, which includes a one-year internship. This UG-level course is offered through the medical sciences department of the university. For SGT University BAMS course admission, candidates' scores in the NEET exam are taken into consideration. Further, the seats are allocated through a centralised counselling process.
For BAMS at SGT University, aspirants are advised to first the eligibility requirements. The minimum educational qualification required for NEET is as follows:
Eligibility Criteria: Aspirants must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam with at least 50% aggregate (45% for General-PWD and 40% for reserved categories). Additionally, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects should have been studied individually in Class 12.

NEET MDS is a computer-based exam of three hours duration with two time-bound sections. Part A was for 75 minutes and had 100 questions. Part B had 140 questions to be solved in105 minutes. The timing of the exam was 2 PM to 5 PM. There were a total of 240 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the NEET MDS syllabus. Yes, SGT University has seats reserved for students belonging to the state of Haryana. It follows the provisions of section 35 of the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006. Hence, the university has 25% of seats reserved for students from the Haryana state. Out of this, 10% are reserved for Scheduled Caste category candidates. Moreover, to avail a reserved seat, candidates have to submit the relevant documents.

SGT University admission process starts with registration for the preferred course. Candidates can fill out the application form offline or apply on the university website. SGT University selects candidates for most of the UG courses based on CUET scores. The university accepts CUET-PG for PG courses such as MBA, MSc, MPharm, etc. Besides, candidates must also fulfil the eligibility criteria to apply for admission.

The university accepts applications in both online and offline modes. To fill out the application in offline mode, aspirants can visit the university website to collect the admission form. Further, the steps to be followed for filling out the SGT University BAMS application form in online mode are:

Commonly asked questions On Application Process
CAT is not required for SGT University Gurgaon. However, CAT scores are considered for admission to the MBA programme at SGT University Gurgaon. For admission to the MBA program, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50% marks. Candidates who have appeared for CAT/MAT/XAT are also eligible for consideration.
For MDS course at SGT University, the minimum age requirement is 20 years. Apart from this, it is also crucial that the aspirant possess a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a college or university that has received DCI accreditation. In addition, the applicant must be a permanent or temporary member of either the State Dental Council (SDC) or the Dental Council of India (DCI).
