SGT University has poor placements but good college life and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements at SGT University are very poor. Around 60–70% of students got placed in my course. The highest package was 7 LPA, the average was 4 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. TCS, Dell, and Wipro were the top recruiting companies for my course. A lot of students got internships at TCS, around 40%. I don't know much about the roles, but IG Junior Software Development.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of SGT is very good. All the buildings were recently built. Well-organized blocks and facilities are there. The labs are well maintained with high-end computers. Fast and reliable Wi-Fi is available all over the campus, and air conditioning is available in each class. The quality of the food is very good. SGT Hospital is inside the university, so all the medical facilities are available.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are young, so they are cooperative and understanding. The quality of their teaching is excellent. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant but a bit old. It does make the student industry ready, but it needs improvement. College semester exams are not difficult at all.

Other: I was interested in coding and computers from the very beginning, so I chose BCA at SGT University. The curriculum is a bit old and needs improvement. Events and festivals are organized on a huge scale, connectivity is poor, and there are no good transport services available.

It is a good college, and almost 85% of students are placed.

Placements: In our college, almost 85% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA and the average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Tech Mahindra, Microsoft, HCL, Wipro, etc., visit our campus.

Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. The campus is huge. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. The hostel facilities are available. A canteen is available. The hostel facilities are good.

Faculty: Our faculty members are helpful. The course curriculum is relevant. Exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 40%.

Other: We can learn about many things in this course. Events are excellent. Scholarships are available.

I am satisfied with our college and I also recommend this college to everyone.

Placements: Placements at this university are average. It totally depends upon your hard work and dedication. Otherwise, the college will provide average support in placement. Lots of companies come during the final year of college like IBM, Apple, and Infosys which take placement test.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is well maintained on campus and has all facilities like air-conditioner, Wi-Fi, advanced computer labs, robotic lab, smart projector, and many interactive things also. The hostel is also available. Advanced labs such as IBM lab, and Apple lab are also available.

Faculty: Exams are quite difficult otherwise faculty is good on campus. They listen to you every time and if you feel any problem then just complain, they will sort it out soon. I mainly pass with 60-65% in mid-term exams as well as in the final semester exams. Exam questions come from assignment and textbooks which make it neither easy nor difficult for students.

Other: I chose BCA because I want to study computer applications. I think they should more focus on practical studies as compared to theory.

Review of SGT University, Gurgaon.

Placements: Companies hire students based on their talent, passion and Skills. On average, 40% of our batchmates got placed with an average package of 1.5-2 LPA. Companies like D-Link, Intel, Amul, Tally Solutions, IBM, Cisco, Paras Hospital, and L&T come to hire students.

Infrastructure: The university is way ahead of others in terms of infrastructure. The campus is good. The classrooms, labs and library are good. It has 2 cafes and a chocolate room. It also has separate hostels for boys and girls with good services.

Faculty: The teachers are not much qualified or well-trained. They speak Haryanvi and are rude. If the teachers are polite, students can do far better than expected.

Other: You can choose this course blindly because we know that we will see a boom in the IT industry. If you are from UP, you can go to Amity, and if you are from Delhi, you can choose IPU colleges. They are far better than this. Because after spending so much money here, we are not getting what we expected from this college.

It is really a good institute.

Placements: I asked my senior student about their placements, and they said that the placements were in a higher number, and well-known companies visit the campus. The percentage of placement on the campus is 82%, and it is increasing year by year. The average salary was good, and it depends upon the qualification of the student.

Infrastructure: SGT provides all the facilities to the students like Wi-Fi lab, A/C classrooms, library, medical facilities, and much more. All are good in labs and classrooms. They provide hygienic food in the canteen. The hostel rooms are well-maintained and provide all the facilities for the students.

Faculty: Of course, all the teachers are knowledgeable and well-experienced. The teaching quality was great. The teaching quality was good, and they communicate in a good way with the students. Many curriculum activities will be organised for the students, which are useful.

Other: Many types of events are organised on the campus, and all the events are helpful for the students.

It is not good, but still a Gyan Mandir.

Placements: In our college, who are eligible will get the placement. The salary depends on course type or skills, but everyone will send for an internship. Everything is possible, but it depends on the students how much they do hard work, and salary is in progress.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are good, and it is air-conditioned. They use the old software in a laboratory. The library is not good, and there are no sports. The hostel is good, and the hostel's food is tasty. The campus has a parking facility. The faculty members are talented. The staff is good as they help us in every problem related to studies.

Faculty: The faculty members of engineering and technology are there for many engineering courses like B.Tech, BCA, MCA, M.Tech, mechanical, electrical, etc. Now SGT is getting apple lab in mid of 2018. The faculty members are highly knowledgeable in my way. The teaching quality is average. Some courses are new like BCA, etc.

Other: In our college, the events are held regularly.
