Information regarding our college.
Placements: Colleges offer placements and study is very good. Agriculture offers lots of scope in this field and it also gives students practical knowledge. Agriculture is the main source of income it has many career opportunities for students and college is also good.
Infrastructure: Hostels have good infrastructure and more hostels are also in progress. Attendees and warden are good. Hostel has good facilities like washing machines and parking space. Food is also good and timing provided is on basis of students care.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and helpful. They always support their students and also provide knowledge about our careers. Exams are of medium level and pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I am interested in agriculture, and I come from a village background. Other activities are also held like games and cultural programs. Fest should be organized.

Review of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu.
Placements: There are no placement programs in this college. Training and internships are offered by prestigious universities. Top recruiting companies are Bayer, etc. Few students are eligible for international internships for 2 months in America.
Infrastructure: Our university has all equipment and chemicals in the laboratory. Classrooms are air-conditioned. It also has smart boards for better learning.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers are regularly monitored by the Dean and VC. They also conduct classes regularly. They provide practical experience to students. At the end of the degree, a RAWE program is conducted through which ground-level knowledge is accumulated. This university keeps a close eye on the teaching staff members and course curriculum. All professors are dedicated to their work.
Other: Many fests and events are held. Kisan Mela is held twice a year, which is the biggest fest in the North zone. Agrifest is held once a year. ABVP is active in this university and conducts a lot of conferences and events.

A comprehensive review of Veterinary College, SKUAST-Jammu.
Placements: There are around 4-5 postgraduation seats in each department. Students receive decent salary packages, ranging from 5 LPA - 1.5 crore per annum, in many pharmaceutical and feed companies like Intas, Venkys, and Mother Dairy. The university organises academia-industry meetings to help place deserving students easily.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are digital, and laboratories are well-equipped with all the equipment for high-quality research in pharmacology and toxicology. The college library is huge and contains thousands of books from all sectors of veterinary and animal sciences. Hostels offer single-seater, double-seater, and NRI quota rooms, a gym, a mess providing decent food, and medical facilities during office hours. There is a large playground for outdoor sports and a hall for indoor games.
Faculty: All professors are highly experienced in their respective fields of science, and most of them have undergone international training in countries like USA, UK, Australia, Japan, and the Netherlands. The course structure is highly relevant to the field of pharmacology, and students can secure decent packages in pharmaceutical companies. The course is a bit tougher than others, but with regular study, nearly everyone can succeed.
Other: Veterinary pharmacology is a vast field that offers opportunities in multiple domains, such as the pharmaceutical sector, government sector, academics, and central research organizations. Regular interaction between students from different fields would improve the quality of research and the study environment. The college organizes Vetfest every year, which includes both sports and cultural events, making it an exciting experience. The college is only 13 kilometers from Jammu airport, and surroundings are well-developed. A scholarship of Rs. 5,000 rupees per month is provided to postgraduate students for two years.

There are good infrastructure and facilities here.
Placements: The placement cell is not very active in this university. Students may need to find jobs and internships programs on their own. The placement cell sometimes provides information regarding jobs and internships on WhatsApp group but without any follow-up from them.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and department are highly functional here. The hostels are very good with every facility, and a medical centre is available near the hostel only. A gym and sports centre for sports and games are available. A shopping complex has been established where daily needed things can be purchased. There is a canteen facility, but it is not up to the mark. Library facilities are commendable. A highly equipped library with online facilities is available.
Faculty: Teachers here are well qualified and knowledgeable. Basic concepts are cleared. The course curriculum is followed as provided by ICAR. Mostly, our college encourages self-study.
Other: There are a great course and curriculum. The campus is good, and more extracurricular activities have been conducting now. The only problem which students face is the connectivity, as proper transport is not available to the city.

I am satisfied with this government university as it is perfect with great exposures.
Placements: Students get internships in great industries all over Jammu and in adorning states, which amplifies the great performance in our personality.
Infrastructure: Our campus has the most the biggest library in Jammu and Kashmir with the highest number of books available. There are Wi-Fi, labs, the library, etc. In our campus, we have different 11 blocks for different departments which include minimum 3 research labs in each department with ample of fields with a stream in between for research. There are a student centre, sports complex, sports ground, the largest auditorium of Jammu & Kashmir and large classrooms which can accomodate about 150 students with air-conditioners which are not usually provided by governments university. Hostels for UG has a single room for students with new infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers here are the best all over India because of government university. Though in Jammu, we have faculty members from different parts of India, which gives a great exposure to the students. All professors are PhD or post-doctorates as their minimum qualification, and they are well-knowledgeable. Teaching quality is great with a little practical knowledge.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is one in all courses to develop our personality in maths, economics, genetics, rural psychology, NSS, field visits, extra cultural activities, and everything is covered in this course. You have a great future in this course with research, management or government sectors. Every year the intercollege fest is organised known as Agrifest (kairos) and a sports meet. Apart from that, various teams of our university, such as a sports team, cultural team, etc., are sent to national events every year on government expenditure.

Good college with great infrastructure.
Placements: There are 20 students in our batch. The highest package is Rs 60 LPA which is earned under a fellowship by qualifying for the JRF exam. I am not sure about the companies but due to less opportunities in India under biochemistry people prefer to travel to foreign lands more.
Infrastructure: Our college has excellent infrastructure. It has proper Wi-Fi and library. Not so well-developed labs but classrooms are great. Staffs are very supportive. Food in the hostels is excellent as well as in the canteen. We have a proper sports facility here, and there are frequent games for all students.
Faculty: Most of our teachers are qualified scientists with great knowledge as well. Teaching quality somehow degraded in between but we managed to talk about it openly, and they improved. It does make students industry-ready. Semester exams are actually hard. But still last year pass percentage was 100%.
Other: I always liked the course of biochemistry and affiliated fields. It's very interesting as you learn the actual science here. You learn about yourself and before knowing the world outside and exploring the oceans and space we need to learn our winner selves maybe we find it all in ourselves.
