Good placements and internship opportunities, but exam patterns are a complete disaster.

Placements: There were quite a few students from our course who were placed in different companies, like Radio Mirchi, etc. Our course does provide us with a lot of internship opportunities as well, both paid and unpaid. It all depends on how much you are willing to work, learn, and gain from these opportunities.

Infrastructure: The labs are well-equipped with Mac setups and all kinds of studio setups required for journalism students. One thing that can be added is the number of cameras. There are only two good cameras available in the department, and they are mostly used for university shoots only. The students cannot issue them for assignments or their own projects because they cannot be carried outside the university campus.

Faculty: Some of the teachers are very efficient and very helpful, but most of them don't solve our doubts if asked by the students. The course curriculum is mostly relevant. If students practice well, they will be prepared for the industry. The semester exams are a complete disaster. They don't give us enough time to prepare. They are finishing their semester of six months but the syllabus is not completed on time. They pile up students with loads of assignments all in the last moment, and still expect good marks from us.

A temple for learning and individual growth.

Placements: Most of the students of my department have been given a chance for internship at a well-established and reputed area. From the creative field to the corporate world, every interest is given a chance to experience and flourish. Top recruiters are Aajkal, Republic, British Council, SVF, Hoichoi, Amazon, Wipro, TCS. Around 80 percent of the department receives placement opportunities.

Infrastructure: The collection of books in the library is really helpful for having a strong hold on the syllabus. It has a wide range of hardcopy books as well as provides a good source of digital platform libraries. Thousands of books from different languages and genres find their place in the library.

Faculty: SNU has gifted me with some of the best faculty members of my life. They have shaped me, guided me, and helped me grow in ways that words can never explain. Correcting me through all mistakes, to motivating me in joining conferences, they have been one of the biggest supports that has shaped my dream of seeing myself as a good academician. They give their best when it comes to the students who are really interested in studies.

Other: The department holds international and national conferences on a regular basis, which gives us opportunities to meet eminent academicians and research scholars, which definitely shapes our thoughts and critical understanding.

Excellent faculty, good infrastructure and facilities, satisfactory food.

Placements: In the M.A. in English course, the faculty regularly keep the students informed and updated with new placement and internship opportunities in various fields, including travel, sales, corporate, and even reputed. Organizations like British Council, and the students are also given the opportunity to apply for internships at the university as well.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well above satisfactory, with classrooms big enough to accommodate the whole strength of the batch comfortably, an auditorium that can hold all attendees for different events, board rooms equipped with current technologies for smooth meetings and conferences. Food trucks at the university offering a wide variety of options with quality above average.

Faculty: The faculty is excellent, all teachers are very helpful and keen to answer any kind of queries or doubts regarding the courses and beyond. The curriculum for the M.A. course is relevant enough to make students ready for different competitive exams, and the faculty encourages and helps students understand opportunities after graduation, with my batch consistently performing well in end-semester exams with a class average of 8/10 SGPA.

Other: My inclination towards choosing this course is due to the immense depth and knowledge the stream of literature provides, which helps me better understand reality and the world around me. The curriculum considers all aspects of literature from its early ages to post-modern times, with the added benefit of applying for different scholarships including a preliminary scholarship during admission. The campus blooms with colors during winter and hosts different cultural events and fests throughout the year.

Supportive facility, structured curriculum and a well maintained campus

Placements: 97 percent of students get placements in roles such as a translator, content writer, HR, accountant and many others. The highest package was 51 LPA whereas the lowest package was 15 LPA. The placement cell is very helpful for students in providing internships and jobs.

Infrastructure: It has a modern campus with spacious classrooms. The department also provides the facilities of A. C and Wi-Fi for students. The library is also having large space and well-equipped books, e-resources, and journals that are very helpful for students. Hostel facilities are also very good and well maintained with hygiene. 24/7 security for safety purposes. Food is also good, healthy and made with hygiene.

Faculty: The English department has supportive, friendly and experienced teachers including Ph.D qualified professors who teach theory, literature and writing skills. SNU follows a well-structured syllabus for M.A. English students that is very helpful for their future. Foreign language is also included in every semester which enhances student's language skills.

Our college is good in all aspects.

Placements: The placement percentage of this college is 97%. The highest salary package offered is 51 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Accenture, Bosch, Wipro, HCL, Microsoft, etc. Every student gets the opportunity to get recruited. Top roles offered are human resources manager, translator, accountant, etc.

Infrastructure: The college has everything that a student needs, a big open space, canteen, basketball court, seminar halls, library, Wi-Fi, non AC classrooms and many more. They have multiple buildings in one campus. The infrastructure is great. They have multiple sports.

Faculty: Our faculty members are very cooperative. The course is very detailed and informative manner. Two main exams consist of mid-semester exams and end-semester exams. They take class assessments after every topic they complete.

Other: I wanted to pursue a career in teaching, so I chose this course. This program provides in-depth knowledge of literature from the 14th century and prepares us for the teaching profession. There are events and festivals held throughout the year in the open space, and the infrastructure is excellent. Additionally, foreign language classes are mandatory for all students, as they help us learn a new language.

My university provides better infrastructure and skills.

Placements: Students get placements here in different departments. Recruiting Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, CISCO, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Deloitte. In our department roles like news reporter, news anchor, photojournalist, and videographer are offered.

Infrastructure: Different facilities and infrastructure available in our college like studio, Apple labs, agriculture lab, computer lab, science lab, psychology lab, and others too. As well as a canteen area, there is a basketball court for the students. A big library for students to study and gain more knowledge about their courses.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in our department of journalism and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good. It does make the student industry-ready and we get to learn a lot of things, especially practical things. Semester exams are good as we have practical to score marks.

Other: I chose this course because to learn practical things like camera handling, videography, editing, and so on. If there are more courses or classes for digital media, a proper editing class, or videography classes it would have been helpful for us.

Good placements and well-maintained infrastructure.

Placements: Students from our college are getting internships at various companies including King Sports, KRL Infratech Ltd., etc. Most of the students are getting good internships and job opportunities from the college placement cell. We have multiple options while choosing our internship.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is very good. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel rooms. The collection of books in our library is amazing. Labs are well-equipped and have modern equipment. The food in our canteen is very affordable and tasty. We have a basketball court, gym, and medical facilities for any emergency situations.

Faculty: Our teachers are very good and helpful. Overall education quality is very good. Our course mainly focuses on practical knowledge. It makes us industry-ready. Every aspect of journalism and mass communication is taught. Getting good marks in our university is tough but on the other hand the pass percentage is also good.

Other: I chose this course because, since my graduation, I have had an interest in branding and communication.

Good infrastructure and teaching quality .

Placements: Good amount of students were placed in my course. The highest package have been 5.5 to 6 LPA. No recruiting companies I found out yet, though they provide internship from British council and in campus. Very handful amount of students get the chance of internship.

Infrastructure: Very spacious classrooms. Accessible library with enough books related to the course. Canteen is absolutely top notch and affordable. Cultural events are very handful. There are no AC, so summers are gonna eat you up alive. Not sure about medical facilities and sports and games.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and the teaching quality is standard. Exams are difficult but teachers guidance helps to cope up. They try hard to make the students ready for professional fields and also they provide enough career guidance to not only succumb ourselves in one field but to also explore.

Other: I chose this course for research purpose. Though I am not sure whether I will choose that line or not. I think the department should start focusing on providing placements.
