It is good for views only. The quality of teaching is poor. NCC is the only good thing in SNU.
Placements: Placements are average. We get placed if we have excellent skills, but they don't teach any skills. No good skills are taught, so it is hard to get placements. It is very good for those who have good skills and experience. It offers internship opportunities. We can hope to get good placements.
Infrastructure: In labs, computers and keyboards are very bad. Wi-Fi is very poor. A ground is nice. The library is under construction. They started classes in the B block while it was still under construction, which is not safe at all. But it is very good because benches and desks are good. There is AC in all B-block classes. However, there is no AC in A block. There is a good bus facility.
Faculty: Only very few faculty members are genuinely interested in teaching. Exams are hopeless because some faculty members don't care if we cheat or not. Some faculty members focus only on a very small number of students. But some of them are very good, kind, and understanding.
Other: They take extra money from us to do fests. There is no freshers' party or farewell party. NCC service is good. There is no canteen because there is no gas. It gives extracurricular marks without extracurricular activities. There are good surroundings. It is very hot.

The college is in an excellent IT hub location with modern labs and promising future placements.
Placements: I will pass out in 2027, and our placement process is just beginning. Currently, about 70% of our seniors are placed. The highest package offered is 15 LPA. The average package offered is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon and Deloitte. Many of us have already secured internships in the 3rd year at companies like Google and local startups for summer roles.
Infrastructure: The college has excellent Wi-Fi and high-tech labs that we use daily for projects. Classrooms are modern with projectors. The library is a quiet place with all books we need. The hostel rooms are clean. The mess food can be repetitive. We have a great sports complex for games like football and basketball, which keeps us active.
Faculty: Our teachers are very approachable and have great industry experience, which makes the teaching quality quite high. The course curriculum is updated to include the latest trends like AI and Data Science, which helps in making us industry-ready. Semester exams are challenging but fair.

I have a positive experience with supportive faculty and good learning. It needs better placements.
Placements: I am a 6th-semester B.Tech student. Around 50-60% of students get placed in our course. The highest package offered is 40 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 8-10 LPA. Companies like Amazon and Wipro visit the campus. Internship opportunities exist, but many students find them on their own. Roles offered are mainly entry-level, like developer and trainee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good with clean classrooms and properly equipped labs. Wi-Fi is available, but it is sometimes inconsistent. The library is useful for studying. Hostel facilities are average, and food quality is manageable. Basic medical and sports facilities are also available here.
Faculty: Faculty members are generally supportive, qualified, and approachable. Most of them have good subject knowledge and explain concepts clearly. They are open to doubts and guide students in academics and projects. The teaching quality is decent, though it varies between subjects. The course curriculum is relevant, but could include more industry-oriented skills. Semester exams are moderate, and students who study regularly perform well.
Other: I chose this course to build a technical career. The best part is the balance of theory and practical learning. However, more industry exposure, internships, and updated skills would improve the course. The campus is well-connected. Extracurricular activities are held here.

It's a good college. A student taking admission in this college will surely achieve success.
Placements: In our college, they give good placements. If a student studies and has good scores throughout, then they can be placed. The highest package offered is 50 LPA, the lowest package is 2.5 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms have air conditioning, which keeps the classrooms cool during the lecture time. CSE labs have Wi-Fi so we can use that for our study, and the university has a library with a variety of books. Good food is available in the canteen inside the SNU campus, and good medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Most teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, while some might lack some knowledge or be very strict, like teachers of classes 5th or 6th in school. The course curriculum is very much relevant and modern, unlike the syllabus of old engineering colleges. Semester exams are not difficult if a student studies thoroughly.
Other: I had a keen interest in CSE, so I chose this course. We can learn different things in our course, like parts of electronics, signal and other things, and also the newly launched Apple Labs help us to learn web development. Fests are fewer in our college, especially in our department. Extra-curricular activities are also fewer.

A frank review of Sister Nivedita University.
Placements: Hello, I'm Swagata Samanta. I'm a fresher here in CSE. About 60 percent of students mostly placed. The highest package generally ranges from 15 LPA to 20 LPA and the lowest package remains around 1.2 LPA to 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Capgemini, Accenture, TCS, new startups, Tech Mahindra, and more similar companies. Not many students get a chance to do an internship even if some students do get it maybe around 20 percent they are mostly unpaid. Mostly technical roles are what are given but some do go for managerial roles as well.
Infrastructure: We do have Wi-Fi but the quality ain't good. Labs are well-maintained and properly taken care of. The classrooms are newly built and thus are clean and great to have a class in. The library does offer with a huge volume of books from different subjects and we students do get to borrow any book we want. I'm a day scholar so I can't comment on it. The food quality in the canteen is just average but students do eat it anyway. Medical facilities are decent and available. Sports and games' events happen regularly.
Faculty: Teachers are indeed helpful, very well qualified, and great to ask questions to. The curriculum is relevant but it depends on the students if they work hard to maintain being industry-ready. IAS is a department ranked 1st, and I think semester exams are moderately difficult with a pass percentage of approximately 90 percent.
Other: I chose CSE because I have been deeply in love with solving problems logically since high school and that's the best thing about it. I wish more research-related problems were done in class. Extracurricular events do happen at the university for those who are interested.

A superb institution and has the potential to be the very best.
Placements: I am not fully sure what the placements at my college are. It was said to us that the average package for my course was 6 LPA, but it may be lower than that. I heard my college boast that some students have even got a 1 crore package per annum. Some companies that are regular visitors to our placement cell are Amazon, Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services, etc. About 10% of the students from my course are involved in internships starting from the 2nd semester in rather lesser-known companies. Some entry-level positions are like: frontend/backend/full-stack developer.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by our college are good. We have free Wi-Fi, and the labs are always air-conditioned, while the classrooms are air-conditioned for B.Tech students only. We have good sports interests here as we have college teams for various kinds of sports. Also, the quality of food provided by the canteen is somewhat good. I cannot comment on the facilities provided by the hostel as I am a day scholar.
Faculty: The professors and faculty members are very knowledgeable and are highly qualified to teach us. I am afraid that the textbook knowledge that they provide may not be able to make us fully-fledged industry-ready. We can see from the pass percentage (which is about 90%) that the stuff taught by the teachers is absorbed properly by most of the students.

Faculties are good. Internships and placements are good.
Placements: 70-80% of students got placed, and the top 20% will get around 30 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. I don't know about internships, and the top role offered is a database management role. Many of them are hired as full-stack or software developers.
Infrastructure: In my college, both Mac and Windows labs are available, and the facilities are very good. All the labs are AC available, and classrooms can also be changed from non-AC to AC rooms. Medical facilities are very good. Canteen food is very good and healthy. You can also find some outsourced food available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified, and the teaching quality is very good. They help us to build projects and also help after classes. They said they can solve any doubt about any subject. End-of-semester exams are too hard. I don't know about the pass percentage.
Other: Event fests are just amazing. For B.Tech CSE students, it's a better choice.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities. So overall, it's satisfying.
Placements: Our college has a very high recruitment percentage. Almost all the students get a job if they don't go for further studies. Many managers, branch heads, etc., of many famous companies were taken by our seniors. I also hope to get a reliable job at the end of the course.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by our college are satisfactory. The labs are good, and the classrooms have AC for a comfortable atmosphere to study. The faculty members are also good, and moreover, the system to change the faculty members of a class if the students are not satisfied is very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and always try to give their best. Still, if the students are not satisfied with the teachers, they can request to change the faculty members any time for better adjustment with the studies. The labs all have a lab assistant who helps us during our difficulties.

Top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. Classrooms have air conditioning, which keeps the classrooms cool during the lecture time. Good food is available in the canteen inside the SNU campus, and good medical facilities are also available. The course curriculum is very much relevant and modern, unlike the syllabus of old engineering colleges.
