Worth it to get admission.
Placements: In this course, Masters in Hospital Administration, as I am currently studying, but my senior batch from 2021 are working in different hospitals as of now, and some of the alumni are working in the Sikkim Manipal Hospital itself. As there is no placement from the University, but the ones who have done well can be placed in a reputable place for sure.
Infrastructure: The campus is beautiful. A peaceful environment, as it is a teaching hospital, so students can learn not just the theoretical aspects, but can learn from the practical perspective as well. There is a badminton court, basketball court. And a huge library with a good collection of books.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, they are so knowledgeable, Frank is always there for you to help you in any problem you face. Exams are conducted 3 times, 2 from the internal and 1 from the university side. As there are not such holidays, but it's about 2 years, so it's worth to give the best.

The college is best. The campus area is clean and fresh with a nice environment.
Placements: 20 students are placed in my course. The highest salary is 2 lakhs per month and the lowest salary is Rs. 60,000 per month. Companies like Amazon and Microsoft hire students. About 20% of students get internships in Tata. Roles like accounting and business operators are offered. It helps students to get nice paid placements. Internships are done in a very proper manner where we can learn.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are awesome. All the needed things are present here. I would rate 8 out of 10 for the canteen. The food and everything is good. We are enjoying our college life. Classrooms are very nice with AC and Wi-Fi connectivity. The learning phase is going on, it has a good library where we can study.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good. Teachers are well-qualified. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Exams are not that difficult and the passing mark is 40. Teachers are so good towards students and guide us in everything that we are having problems with.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue my career in the corporate field. Nothing should be improved as everything is good about the college. All events, extracurricular activities, and co-curriculum are conducted.

Satisfied but requires improvement in some fields.
Placements: As I did my graduation B.Sc. in medical biotechnology, there were no such placements. In fact, we were referred to several companies for interviews. Students holding an M.Sc. degree were referred mainly. However, some of our seniors have cracked the interviews. SMIMS didn't have a placement cell as such. But, the institute is more or less referred students for internships and jobs.
Infrastructure: SMIMS has a great infrastructure with facilities like Wi-Fi, various labs, many classrooms, library, medical facilities for students and faculty, grounds for various sports and games. The quality of food used to be great at the beginning of every session, but with time till the end, it would worsen. The hostel rooms were good and spacious for 3 students per room, provided with enough facilities.
Faculty: Most of the teachers were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Practical knowledge was also provided along with theoretical. The student-faculty ratio was 15:1, for my course (medical biotechnology) and for other courses like MBBS physiotherapy and nursing, it's 100:1. As it is a medical college, there's no industry exposure. There were certain pros and cons in the course curriculum.
Other: There were 2 annual fests (cultural and sports), and some extracurricular activities and academic events are also conducted.

It is the best college to study in.
Placements: Around 50% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA and the lowest salary package was 6 LPA. The recruiting companies were Havels, Dell, and HCL. Around 60% of students got in internships in this college. Top roles offered were business analyst, mentor, and account specialist.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility was good. The food served was good in taste and quality. Labs were very good and Wi-Fi-enabled. All the equipment was provided in the labs. Classrooms were very well-decorated. Our college provided games period.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very good and helpful. They were connected to students through websites and social apps regarding their studies.
Other: I chose this because it is very good and has a huge scope. There were many events on campus. Many scholarship programs were held in our college.
