SMU - Sikkim Manipal University, Gangtok Scholarships and Funding
Scholarship facility is available for Technical Campus and Medical Campus Students:
I. 30% concession on Course fee for B Tech candidates having average PCM (Physics, Chemistry &
Mathematics) percentage 90 and above.
II. 20% concession on Course fee for B Tech candidates having average PCM (Physics, Chemistry &
Mathematics) percentage between 85 and 90.
III. 10% concession on Course fee for B Tech candidates having average PCM (Physics, Chemistry &
Mathematics) percentage between 80 and 85.
IV. 20% concession on Course fee for B Tech candidates of Nepal and Bhutan.
V. 10% concession on Course fee to the immediate siblings of SMIT Students for taking admission
in B Tech course.
VI. 75%concession in tuition fee is given to students sponsored by Govt. of Sikkim.
Sikkim Manipal University Gangtok offers courses such as BTech at the UG level for 4 years on the basis of the minimum aggregate of 45% in Class 12 with PCM as a mandatory subject. Along with this, candidates must secure valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as JEE Main/ MET/ SMIT online test or equivalent. The University offers BTech in various specialisations with a total tuition fee ranging from INR 7.8 Lacs to INR 15.6 Lakh, one-time fees worth INR 5 K, and hostel fees ranging from INR 5.16 Lacs to INR 6.45 lakh. Candidates must visit the official website or enquire at the campus for better clarity.

Sikkim Manipal University BA fee ranges from INR 75,000 to INR 1.7 lakh. You might have to pay a one-time admission fee of INR 2,000. At the time of registration, candidates need to pay INR 1,000 and a caution deposit fee of INR 5,000 that is refundable.
