Scholarship facility is available for Technical Campus and Medical Campus Students:

I. 30% concession on Course fee for B Tech candidates having average PCM (Physics, Chemistry &
Mathematics) percentage 90 and above.
II. 20% concession on Course fee for B Tech candidates having average PCM (Physics, Chemistry &
Mathematics) percentage between 85 and 90.
III. 10% concession on Course fee for B Tech candidates having average PCM (Physics, Chemistry &
Mathematics) percentage between 80 and 85.
IV. 20% concession on Course fee for B Tech candidates of Nepal and Bhutan.
V. 10% concession on Course fee to the immediate siblings of SMIT Students for taking admission
in B Tech course.
VI. 75%concession in tuition fee is given to students sponsored by Govt. of Sikkim.

The course fees for the three years BSc course ranges from INR 1.7 Lacs to INR 5.6 Lacs in Sikkim Manipal University. Quite satisfied with the faculty and the really good infrastructure with all facilities.

Placements: About 70 percent of students were placed last year. The highest package offered was around 25 LPA, and the average was 6 LPA, whereas the median was 4-5 LPA. Top recruiters were Microsoft, Dell, etc. Around 10 percent of students got internships, and most internships were offered by Dell. SDE roles were the top offers offered in my course.

I am satisfied with academics, but it could do better on the infrastructure.

Placements: 90 percent of students get placed in my course. The average offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. The Sikkim government is the top recruiter, but many students open their own clinics. 100 percent of students from our course get internships within college. A medical officer role is offered in our course.

Review from a first year student.

Placements: 70-80 percent of students are placed from my course. The highest package is around 12 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA-3 LPA. Microsoft, Dell, Amazon, etc., are recruiting companies. 85-90 percent of students got internships with top recruiters like Accenture, Amazon, IBM, as software engineer, data analysts, and full-stack developers.

Good infrastructure, a worthy off-campus view, knowledgeable faculty members, and average placements

Placements: I am currently in my 5th semester of B.Tech (CSE), and the most recent pass-out 2025 batch are placed in reputed companies. In our 5th semester, recently a US healthcare company, Vivnovation, visited offering ₹15,000 per month as an intern role and a PPO of 22 LPA on satisfactory work performance. This year, the 2025 pass-out percentage of students placed stood at 76.5%, with 268 getting placed out of 350. The college is best. The campus area is clean and fresh with a nice environment.

Placements: 20 students are placed in my course. The highest salary is 2 lakhs per month and the lowest salary is Rs. 60,000 per month. Companies like Amazon and Microsoft hire students. About 20% of students get internships in Tata. Roles like accounting and business operators are offered. It helps students to get nice paid placements. Internships are done in a very proper manner where we can learn.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty .

Placements: The total percentage of students is 16%. The average package is 3 years. Stnm Hospital, Manipal Hospital, and Singtam Hospital. All 16% of students get internships at Manipal. Roles offered include Senior Lab Technician. There are endless opportunities after taking MLT. We can build our businesses or work in hospitals. It is overall a very good course.
