Faculty: Teachers mostly are well qualified and knowledgeable, with good teaching methods, leaving some with a very rigid and boring way of teaching, which, we all can agree, happens in every college. The curriculum needs to be revised with modern subjects, and a big change is required in the first-year syllabus. Faculty: Teachers at SMIT are very helpful, approachable, and well-qualified. They are always ready to clear doubts, even outside class hours or over the phone, which shows their dedication. The teaching quality is quite good, with a focus on both theory and practical understanding. The course curriculum is relevant and designed to match current industry standards. It includes core concepts, practical lab work, and project-based learning that help students become industry-ready.

Faculty: The faculty of this college is not at all helpful. They only pressure students. Exams at our college are quite good. Like, you really have to study to pass the exams. That is a good thing, like we have to study and get information and knowledge, but extracurricular activities are also there. It is quite good, but sports it is really bad.

Exams are not that difficult and the passing mark is 40. Teachers are so good towards students and guide us in everything that we are having problems with.

The rule of exams is that there are 2 semesters every year, and in each semester, 2 sessional exams are conducted for 50 marks, and 2 quizzes are conducted for 10 marks.

I think it does not make the students industry-ready, as the college does not take students on industrial visits.

Faculty: There were a few faculty members who didn't put much effort into teaching, but on the other hand, there were a few teachers who were really great at their jobs, and I loved attending their lectures. The passing criteria are very easy, and it's easy to score in internals. You won't have to study that hard for exams. We don't get much practical experience or industry exposure.
