Decent girls' college in Matunga with supportive faculty and good opportunities.
Placements: I am currently pursuing a B.A. Psychology (SY batch). In my course, around 65-70% of students get placed every year through the college placement cell. The highest package offered was approximately. 6 LPA, the lowest is 2.2 LPA, while the average is around 3.5 LPA. Some of the top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, ICICI Bank, Deloitte, and reputed NGOs working in mental health. Nearly 50% of students also secure internships in hospitals, research centers, and NGOs like Fortis Healthcare and MindPeers. The most common roles are HR associate, counselor intern, research assistant, and teaching-related positions.
Infrastructure: The college has decent infrastructure. Classrooms are clean, well-lit, and equipped with projectors. There is Wi-Fi available on campus, and the library is one of the best parts, stocked with good reference books and a peaceful reading space. Labs are simple but sufficient for a psychology practical. Hostel facilities are not available. Canteen food is average but affordable, and the canteen offers a variety of snacks at reasonable prices. The college also provides medical assistance, has a decent gymkhana, and encourages sports with indoor and outdoor facilities.
Faculty: The teaching faculty here is highly qualified, approachable, and supportive. They explain concepts very well and are updated as per the NEP (New Education Policy). The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for both higher education and job opportunities. Exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study. Internal assessment and assignments also help students keep up. The overall pass percentage is good.
Other: For the quality of education offered, the fee is extremely affordable. The total fee for my course is 8680 for the entire duration, which makes this college one of the best value-for-money options in Matunga. Being a women's college, the environment is safe and encouraging. The crowd is decent and active in academics as well as extracurricular activities. The campus may not be very big, but the vibe is positive and lively. The college hosts cultural fests, departmental activities, and inter-collegiate competitions where students can participate in drama, debate, dance, and sports. NSS, student clubs, and events make campus life engaging. The college is also well-connected as it is just a short walk from Matunga and Dadar stations.

Supportive faculty, strong academics & safe environment, but needs more industry exposure.
Placements: I completed my Bachelor of Commerce B.Com from the Batch of 2025. Around 70-75% of students from our course were placed through campus placements. The highest package offered was approximately 12 LPA, the lowest was around 3 LPA, and the average package was about 5 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies included Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PwC, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and TCS. About 60-65% of students from our course also secured internships, with firms like EY, Kotak Mahindra.
Infrastructure: My college offers well-maintained classrooms with smart boards, a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, and a good library with a wide collection of commerce and management books, journals, and e-resources. The computer lab is well-equipped and accessible for research and project work related to the B.Com course. The college also has basic medical facilities and regular doctor visits. Sports facilities include indoor games and access to grounds for volleyball, basketball, and other physical activities. The overall campus environment is safe, clean, and student-friendly.
Faculty: Teachers explain concepts clearly and are approachable for doubts and academic guidance. The teaching quality is good, combining theory with real-life business examples. The curriculum is well-structured and relevant, covering core subjects like accounting, finance, business law, and taxation, which help in building a solid foundation for industry roles or higher studies. However, practical exposure through industry visits or workshops could be improved.
Other: I chose the B.Com course because of my interest in finance, business, and accounting, and the course offers a strong foundation in all these areas. The best things about this course are the diverse subjects, the supportive faculty, and the opportunities it opens up for careers in banking, accounting, and the corporate sectors. However, I feel the course could be improved by including more practical training, workshops, and industry exposure, such as internships or live projects, to make students more industry-ready.

Good for placements and, as a girl, if you want to take admission in a girls' college.
Placements: I am from the Computer Engineering department. 90 percent of students get placed in my course. The highest package offered till now is 31 Lacs by Visa, the average package is 7 Lacs, and the lowest is 3.25 Lacs. Companies like Visa, Oracle, Deutsche, and Colgate visit our campus. Roles offered by the companies are different according to their requirements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not that fascinating and cool. It is average-looking. The library is good, Wi-Fi is provided in the labs only, and AC is provided in the labs only. The hostel is also average, not that cool, but you can stay. The hostel meal is good at the start, but it is not good for health. Sports opportunities are there in the college.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful towards students, but some of the teachers lacked qualified teaching. You have to complete the syllabus on your own through self-studying. The course of computer engineering makes students ready for industry work, but you have to put extra effort on your own. The level of exams is average; you can pass easily if you know the basics of the subjects.
Other: I wanted to go for engineering, that's the reason I chose this course. There are many fests and events that happen in the college, which help you increase college connectivity and confidence. The college provides scholarships for backward class students.

It has a good placement cell, great infrastructure, and facilities. I am satisfied with the faculty.
Placements: We get internships from various private banks like HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, etc. Around 40% of students from the college get placed. Students can apply for the banking and finance industry, accountancy, and hotel and tourism industry. I am overall satisfied with it.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, smartboards, and a library with updated books. We have vegetarian options in our canteen as well. It is a non-muslim institution, so we are not accessible to non-vegetarian canteen food, but we can carry our own tiffin. We also have a ground for sports.
Faculty: Our teachers are readily assisting throughout the exam season. Exams are not that tough to pass, and the pass percentage is around 90%. The course curriculum is overall knowledgeable, but includes more modules and units, which might be more beneficial for students.
Other: We have events for various occasions. I hope that teachers provide more assignments and presentations for students.

No permanent faculty for BCA and no proper campus.
Placements: This college does not provide any placement facilities. It's the last option for every student. No proper faculty, no college internship, and no placements. Students have to roam in search of jobs even after getting the degree, which is not a good thing.
Infrastructure: This college does not have its building, the college teaches the students in a building where the first two floors are residential.
Faculty: There is no proper faculty for BCA students, we only have one professor for BCA, and no permanent faculty members. Exams are also very complicated.

Dissatisfied with the environment given at the college from a student's perspective.
Placements: Software developer, Data analytics, and also offering some non-technical roles like management and finance. Companies also come in for immediate recruitment. Companies like Colgate, Visa, DB, Barclays, and Bank of America are a few big companies that come for placements on the campus.
Infrastructure: The whole college and hostel building are currently undergoing renovation, which it absolutely needed. There is no Wi-Fi service on the college campus, and it's down most of the time. The same applies to the hostel. The network is pretty bad too. The computer labs are mostly non-functional.
Faculty: The college doesn't really make you job-ready, but you get a good amount of opportunities to go outside the academic curriculum to work on your coding skills. But it's not really backed up by the college, so you have to manage both of them and may even face biases.
Other: The fest is pretty fun, small scale, but still quite fun. The campus is huge as it is inside the SNDT Women's University. Public transport is easily available, 15 minutes walking from the Santacruz station. You do get a lot of exposure.
