    SOA: The actual law school.
Placements: About 30% of the students are placed in our course. The highest was around 12 LPA, and the lowest was around 7 LPA. Most of the students got jobs from their own findings rather than sitting for the placement. The students prefer to get off-site placements as it gives them a sense of confidence.
Infrastructure: There’s Wi-Fi, classrooms, and a library available. There’s an electronic library that can be accessed through your ID card only. The quality of the hostel is good. The cleaners clean the same every day. We do not have a dispensary in the hostel, but a nearby hospital is present. The food can be better, but it is doable.
Faculty: Teachers are all highly educated as well as knowledgeable. They have all graduated from top-ranking universities and are very smart. All the teachers know how to interact with the students. The semester exams aren’t tough, it honestly depends on the subject.
Other: I chose this course because I always had a budding passion for studying law and pursuing it. Something I wish would improve is the entry timings as well as the infrastructure.

    Faculty members are excellent.
Placements: In the field of law, especially in an integrated B.A. LL.B. or similar programs, students are offered a wide range of career opportunities that are span litigation, corporate, public policy, and academia. Some top roles offered in law courses are litigation associate and corporate legal associate. Top law firms hire students from here.
Infrastructure: We cannot expect much from the canteen and mess. Sports and games are conducted here, but those are not so fun because the campus is not as good as I expected.
Faculty: Semester exams are easy if we pay attention to our studies. Semester exams are moderately challenging with a balanced mix of theory and application. The pass percentage is around 85-90%. Overall, students do good performance here and are passionate. Faculty members here are the best. Students can pursue their careers here as the study environment is the best.

At that time, placements were very good, and faculty members were also excellent.
Placements: At least 80% of students receive the same package, which is offered to each and every student. Tata is one of the top recruiting companies here. Very less students get internships through the college, in each batch, at least two students get internships from the college.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very good, but bathrooms are not so well maintained. The library is not available after 5 PM, which needs improvement. Wi-Fi facility in the hostel is good, but in the college, it does not work properly and is very slow. Food is available, but sanitation in the dining room needs to be improved.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Some teachers are excellent, but I do not like the process of teaching of every teacher, so that needs improvement. The semester exams are not so difficult, but the pass percentage is average. We need to work on increasing the pass percentage of the college.
Other: I want to pursue my career here because the campus surroundings are very peaceful, but it would be better if roads are improved. Students get scholarships here.

Overall, college life was good for me.
Placements: Nearly 20 to 30 students were placed with a salary of Rs.20,000–Rs.30,000 per month. They were posted in Hyderabad and Chandigarh mostly. Almost everyone got internships from the 1st year to the 5th year. In our course, they mainly took students as legal advisors.
Infrastructure: There were facilities for Wi-Fi, labs, AC classrooms, and a library. The quality of food was moderate, and every month, they used to give a special dinner. In a medical emergency, an ambulance came immediately after informing, and it was free of cost for students.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful. The course I opted for was valuable for the money. The semester was not as difficult as we thought. The pass percentage of students was near about 80–85 percent. The students who didn’t attend classes totally had to take exams as back papers.

    Good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: I am not sure about placements because I am a second-year student here. But students have done internships in many esteemed institutions and organisations like district legal service authority, district court, Toshali Bhawan, etc. The college offers internships from the first year itself to acquire experience in notable fields.
Infrastructure: There are both AC and non-AC rooms in the hostel. All the classrooms have AC, projectors, 6-8 fans, whiteboards, green boards, and all the basic yet important study tools. It has a library with good collection of books, magazines, journals, and many more. There is a variety food served in the canteen. It is both tasty and affordable for students. We can borrow books from the library every semester.
Faculty: Faculty members are top-notch. They are very talented and very supportive. They make the environment worth studying. There are total 10 semesters in this course. Subjects also get changed each semester. The questions asked in the semester are truly valuable. I believe those questions can be a great help in shaping our career more positively.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have a great interest in the field of judiciary and administration. The best thing about the course is that the teachers are very supportive, understanding, and intellectual. They constantly motivate us to do better rather than criticizing us for our innocent mistakes. We enjoy ourselves a lot during fests, those times are grand. Many intellectual events such as MUN, moot court competitions, quizzes, debate, art, writing, poster making, and many more take place more often. We also do many socio legal campaigns concerned with topics starting from road safety to gender quality, etc.

Student’s review of SOA National Institute of Law.
Placements: The placement offers provided in the college are sometimes not up to the level of NLUs but it has been improving every year. The average package which was given this year was approximately around 20000 per month. 4 to 5 companies come to the college, for hiring which might increase in the future.
Infrastructure: The college campus is big. The classrooms are spacious but tend to be a little congested when there is full attendance. The library sometimes fails to provide books as it runs out of stock. The hostel rooms are a little less spacious, especially the four-students sharing rooms.
Faculty: The teachers in the institution are helpful. There are a few teachers who are very experienced, helpful and kind towards the students. They take interest in mentoring the students and guiding them. There are a few teachers who are not that experienced.
Other: The campus life at this college is not what one would generally expect. It is not at par with its other sister institutions. The college campus does not have any gymnasium and there are no sports facilities, indoor or outdoor. There is fest organized in the month of March and April.
