A detailed review of IDS, SOA.
Placements: Almost 55% of our students have the possibility of getting placements, in the college itself or the other branches of SOA. We don't get a package but we get internships under the experienced faculty members. We can then apply for residence or further studies at different hospitals to gather experience before establishing our own clinics or getting a job at a hospital.
Infrastructure: We get access to free Wi-Fi and two libraries filled with up-to-date books. We have different classrooms for each year. Our hostels vary in quality but maintain a basic quality. But can't say the same for the food. Our departments allow us to learn our course with love and examples.
Faculty: Teachers are amazingly helpful in providing help and teaching the material. They even answer our doubts on their off time. Course curriculum is extremely relevant and up-to-date with the current medical standards. The exams increase in difficulty as the course progresses but you won't be able to answer any questions if you don't know the material thoroughly.
Other: I chose this course to pursue a future in the medical field. I can't provide any ideas for improvement to our current curriculum. Though the events are kind of lackluster, to be honest.

Our college provides good faculty members but the campus is small.
Placements: Every student gets placed as it is a dental college. Placements are provided in our college. Students learn the best from senior faculty members.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are well maintained. Hostels are not good and the food served is not hygienic. Rooms are good with proper working air-conditioners. Staff members are friendly but strict with girls. The environment of our college is clean and the atmosphere is friendly.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very friendly and well-educated. The course curriculum makes students good doctors within 5 years. Exams are tough. Students have to work hard to pass the exams.
Other: Campus life for students at MBBS and BDS is not good. Our campus is small. There is no place for students to sit or hang out. It is a great college for studies.

Detailed review of IDS SOA, Bhubaneswar.
Placements: We don't get placement options. But we get paid internships, then we can't further pursue higher studies or work in a hospital till we get enough experience to establish our own clinics. We can go to other seminars for good results.
Infrastructure: Course is up to date with current medical standards, and hostel is very clean and provides basic necessities. There is a better study environment in hostel and also bare minimum disturbance. Food is also good. Mess is clean and every day room cleaning is also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and provide practical experience. They complete the curriculum thoroughly and are patient enough even with the slow students. They provide doubt clearing sessions even in their off hours. Course is all about dentistry.
