1. SOA University BTech Application Process 2026
After qualifying for the respective entrance exams and meeting the eligibility criteria, applicants can apply for BTech at SOA University. Below are the steps to apply online.

2. Selection
The deemed-to-be university evaluates the application form of candidates to confirm eligibility. Candidates are selected for BTech based on their scores in JEE Main or SAAT.
3. Release of Merit List
After evaluating the applications of candidates, the deemed-to-be university releases the course-wise merit list. The merit list is usually published on the official website of the university. Moreover, for seat confirmation, shortlisted candidates are required to follow the further admission process.
4. Counselling Process
After the release of merit list, final selection is conducted through a comprehensive counselling process. Aspirants can participate in offline/ online counselling.
5. Document Verification and Admission Confirmation

No, JEE Main is not mandatory for admission in BTech programme of SOA University. It is optional. Aspirants can also appear for SAAT conducted by deemed-to-be university for admission in BTech.
Entry into the BTech programme of SOA University is based on appraising the merit of the candidates either through the performance in the SOA Admission Test (SAAT) or through the JEE Main.
