Master of Arts in Communication & Journalism is a two years post-graduate course. The course is containing a mix of theory, practical, field work and research courses. It concentrates on various dimensions of Journalism, Public Relations, Broadcasting, Media management, Digital media, Interpersonal communication, and Media politics etc. Prepares student in the managerial aspects of Film Television & New Media, as required by the present media environment all across globe. Empowers the students in the managerial &basic production aspects of the media business with due emphasis on the latest business practices, along with marketing and branding management of various media products and associated services. It develops creative temperament and mindset needed in the content production & management segment of media industry. It inculcates competencies thereby enabling to undertake professional work. It provides an active industry interface by way of co? Learning. Helps to take the students through the entire pipe line of managerial process with regards to the content creation for various media pads, monetization on various media pads, providing the students an insight in to the correlation that exists between content creation and associated commercial aspects of media business. Master of Arts in Communication & Journalism is a 2 years full time course affiliated to University of Mumbai. The course is divided into four semesters, two semesters per year. The eligibility criteria is:
Students pursuing or having completed a minimum of three-year graduate programme in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks from any University recognised by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/AICTE are eligible for Post Graduate Studies in Management. Students applying for their final exams in April-May 2021 can also apply. However, they should produce documentary evidence of having passed the graduation examination with minimum aggregate marks as specified above, on or before 31 August 2021, failing which the student will forfeit the admission. The student must have completed the graduation examination process before joining the institute.
