South Asian University for B.Teach review.
Placements: Earlier, there was no placement cell in SAU, but from now on, there is an active placement cell from June 2025, so considering its first B.Teach batch will pass out in 2028, a good placement is expected. I would say considering the rate of growth of the university and its connections in the market, we can expect a good placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is top-notch. Wi-Fi is available in classrooms, hostels, and almost every part of the college. Hostels are one of the best hostels you can get in government engineering colleges. It also has 24/7 drinking water, hot water for bathing, coffee machines, a playing area, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are top-notch in their respective fields. As SAU is a research institute, the teachers are highly qualified. The course curriculum is up to date and is very well researched! Semester exams are not that tough; if one person studies regularly, he/she can expect a good grade!
Other: I chose this because I have a great interest in CSE and also want to pursue higher studies in it. SAU is very good for research purposes, though campus life is a bit off because there are no events or fests on a large scale as such!

I'm satisfied with faculty.
Placements: The placement of our college was not too much significant but on average in that cost, it had good ROI. The placement percentage in our course was about 60%. The package offered in our course was an average of 5 LPA-6 LPA. Around 50% of students got internship offers.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course were excellent. As there were international students in the college. So the environment was very good. There was Wi-Fi campus, digital classrooms, and library with a quality reference book. The hostel was also good. Limited sports facilities were present.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college were excellent in their fields. The teaching quality of our faculty members was good. Our college had international faculty also. Course curriculum was relevant. Semester examinations of college were a little tough. Students had to prepare for the exam.

Strong academic foundation with good faculty, diverse opportunities, and solid placement support.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed is around 50-65%. For M.Sc. computer science at SAU, you can expect a similar placement rate, depending on the batch and market conditions. But many students go for the research field. Any information related to placements or internships is provided on the official site of SAAI.
Infrastructure: Every department has a separate reading room, one common library for all departments, and a common gym. The university provides hostel accommodation for both male and female students. Hostels are equipped with basic facilities such as well-equipped rooms with basic amenities like beds, tables, chairs, and wardrobes. Hostels have access to Wi-Fi for academic and personal use.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Our professors are approachable and willing to offer extra help outside of class hours. There is a strong emphasis on interactive teaching. Faculty members tend to collaborative learning environment. Professors also encourage discussions and problem-solving in class. The exam difficulty is pretty average. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: Students from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka are given special consideration for admission and scholarships. SAU's location in New Delhi, India, also offers a strategic advantage for fostering academic and cultural exchange across the region.

South Asian University: Worth it for money.
Placements: Currently, I am a 1st year student of M.Sc. biotechnology at FLSB South Asian University, New Delhi, India. It is an international university set up by all 8 SAARC countries. As it is a research-based university, its focus is not much more on placements. The university doesn't have a placement cell.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, labs, and a canteen are well-equipped with Wi-Fi and air conditioners. The food quality of SAU Canteen is one of the best. The hostel is an apartment type. Frequent cleanliness is maintained. The hostel campus has a health center.
Faculty: Faculty members are international graduates and well-trained in their fields of expertise. Exams are held frequently in every semester. Semester exams are a bit difficult. Semester exams consist of mid-semesters and end-semesters. In between quizzes, poster presentations, paper presentations, and assignments are given. The M.Sc. biotechnology course curriculum is very updated and designed in such a way that students can easily crack JRF, NET, and GATE exams.
Other: Faculty members of life sciences and biotechnology, South Asian University, New Delhi, India is one the best in our country, so I chose it.

If you're selected then please take admission. Better than JNU and DU.
Placements: Almost every student gets admitted for Ph.D. in most renowned institutions and some of my seniors are doing Ph.D. from foreign universities. All the teachers and students are mostly focused for research as it is a research institute. They also provide Ph.D. Position.
Infrastructure: There is a fully equipped laboratory. Everyone gets hand on experience with proper guidance and support. All the classroom are equipped with ACs and projectors. There is a fully equipped and adequately spaced auditorium. The library also has the best materials and reading spaces.
Faculty: All the teachers are very talented and helpful. I think the curriculum is best in the country and molecular Biology is the best in this college. You can check the profile of the faculty. They are the best in their respective fields. They all have produced relevant research papers.
Other: Amazing people and amazing environment. Located in the most posh area of Delhi.

B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering - Batch of 2028

Dissatisfied because of fitness facilities, average mess food quality, and curriculum is good.
Placements: Our batch is the first ever batch for bachelors, and no placement cell has been constructed yet. There is no official data about placements. The placement cell is under construction. After passing of our batch, the official data will be released, i.e., year 2028.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi access on the whole campus including hostel. As the university is under construction, the infrastructure of the university is not that good now. But I am sure that after completion of the construction of the university. There will be everything above average. Sports and games facilities are quite good. Medical facilities are not that good for now. Canteen is average, and mess food is also average.
Faculty: All teachers here are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are all experienced, and most of them did their PhDs from different IITs. Many of them also have experience teaching in IITs. Semester exams are not difficult. If we study for a month before exams, we can easily score 80-95%. Course curriculum is relevant, timings are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM almost daily with a two-day weekend off.
Other: I had a huge interest in the data science field that's why I chose this course. Best thing about this course is that they teach us everything in the field of computer science. In case, our interests change during student life, we can easily switch as they teach everything. To improve the course, there should not be miscellaneous courses like English in it. Events are average. Fest doesn't happen here as of now (don't know about the future, maybe it will happen soon). Campus crowd is low now, but this year (2025), there will be a hike in the number of students due to new courses.
