The SPA Delhi PhD program is offered in both full-time and part-time modes. Under the full-time program, a candidate is expected to finish the program within a period of five years from the date of registration, while in the case of the part-time program, the maximum period is seven years.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/Planning/Civil Engineering or its equivalent conducted by any recognized university/Institution with a minimum of aggregate 60% or equivalent grade and minimum ten years’ experience (relevant to the proposed topic) in teaching/research/professional practice, or
- Master’s Degree in allied disciplines, as decided by the respective Departmental Research Committee (DRC) on case-by-case basis, relevant to different streams offered in this School by various departments, with a minimum of 60% and minimum 10 years’ experience (relevant to the proposed PhD topic) in teaching/research/professional practice
SPA Delhi PhD Fees 2025
For admission to SPA Delhi courses, students must pay various fee components included in the SPA Delhi fee structure.
