SSUS BA admission dates have not been announced yet by the University for the academic year 2024. However, according to the 2023 data,  SSUS BA deadline for submission of application forms will be tentatively in June and SSUS BA Cutoffs will be released tentatively in July.

SSUS BA course admission 2024 is both merit and entrance-based. The University has introduced the Single Window System to avoid delay in the processing of representations, requests, applications submitted by students. The University has a centralised admission process. Given below is the SSUS BA admission process 2024:

Step 1: SSUS BA Application Process 2024

Candidates must submit the application form through the University's website and pay SSUS BA application fees. The application fee can also be remitted through Demand Draft.

Step 2: SSUS BA Selection Criteria 2024

The admission will depend on the merit and accordingly, they can decide their centers. The University also accepts the scores of an aptitude test for BA Music, BA Dance (Mohiniyattam/ Bharatanatyam) courses. Candidates must also appear for an Interview.

Step 3: SSUS BA Counselling and Seat Allotment

Shortlisted candidates are required to appear for the counselling process and pay SSUS BA course fees.

• Submit the application online through University websites on or before the last date prescribed
• Candidates must provide personal, guardian, educational details, upload the documents and pay SSUS BA application fees 
• The print copy of the application shall be sent to the Heads of the Departments/ Campus Director of regional Centres/ Main Centre along with the copy of documents and fee receipt

The core subjects are usually the same. Though the electives differ. Some of the major ones taught are - English, History, Psychology, Political Science, Philosophy, Social work, Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Rural Studies, and more. Bachelor of Arts is a 3 year program. It can be pursued full-time, part-time, or through distance learning.

BA Subjects and Specialisations.

Cutoff scores for MA programs at SSUS can vary year-to-year. At Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, a minimum of 55% in aggregate or equivalent grades in aggregate is required for an MA. Increased cutoffs may result from excessive demand for particular MA programmes. A higher cutoff may be the outcome of a programme with fewer seats. A more difficult exam could result in a smaller spread of scores overall and, as a result, a smaller cutoff.

SSUS administers entrance tests specifically for certain programmes. There could be a minimum qualifying score for each exam.
