Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2023

Reviewing SSU, highly dissatisfied, destroyed my career.
Placements: In the list of colleges who can ruin a person’s career in technology, this college comes at the top. Being a pass out from this college in MCA you can trust me when I say this. They are not at all capable of bringing on- campus placements, even if they will, they will request some 1-2 years old startups to take your interviews. There is no proper placement coordinator in this college. All they know is to make fake promises, bluff the students, and they just don't care about your career. If you really want a career in tech, don't ever think about getting enrolled here. They are just not capable enough.
Infrastructure: I have no review to give regarding the hostel as I did not opt for it. Kaivalya’s food is great, it is a place where the hostel people can eat with their mess card, and non hostiles can eat by paying for it. The food is nice. All the other cafes are over priced. There are 2-3 more cafes in the campus where the price is very high and the quantity is very low, but the taste is good.
Faculty: Faculty is helpful, I respect them, but the way the course is designed, nothing can be done about it. It feels like there's no proper operation and coordination from the management’s side. The course is not well designed, it does not make the students industry ready. This type of course curriculum can land you no where.
Other: Course is not well designed .

College having a very helpful and qualified faculty.
Placements: In our college 40-45% of the students get placed in our course. Average package offered in our course was 3-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our college were Deloitte, Accenture, Infosys, Annalect, InfyStrat etc. Top roles offered in the course were HR, associate, CRM etc.
Infrastructure: In our college, good quality facilities anre available for the students. Infrastructure for this course is good. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen etc. are facilities made available for the college students. Hostel facility was also available for the students. The mess and canteen’s food was good to eat.
Faculty: Faculty of the college is helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality offered in the college is good. Course curriculum followed at our college was relevant and it makes the students industry ready. Semester exams in the college are not very hard to pass.

B.A. (Hons.) in English - Batch of 2025

It's a good college, but they should look after the management and extracurricular activities.
Placements: First, about the number of students in our batch, we don't have many; it's around 35 to 40 students. As far as I know, we didn't get any packages for our bachelor's degree. Top recruiting companies are Reliance, Oyo, and Tata. Most of the MBA, B.Tech., and medical students got the internship.
Infrastructure: The management of our college is very poor. Facilities: some are available and some are not. After complaining, they also don't look after that. Hostels are sometimes not clean. The quality of the food is good, but if they are giving only vegetables, they should give proper diet food and healthy food. Sometimes we have a special dinner.
Faculty: The teaching skills of faculty members are excellent. They clear our doubts and make us understand very well. They also take us on a study tour. They are responsible. The syllabus is completed on time. Semester exams are not that tough, but they're tricky. The passing percentage is 50.

The Best of East & West.
Placements: After graduation, students prefer to go for higher studies and preparation for competitive exams. Still students got good placement by various public and private sectors. As per the data available at the website, the average salary offered is INR 13.58 LPA.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure with Wi-Fi campus. Laboratories facilities are there, so that students can rely on practical knowledge too. Satvik food is offered by Kaivalya (SSU Kitchen). 24*7 medical assistance is also available. Ayurvedic hospital is also there.
Faculty: Our faculty members are the best. All the faculty members are highly qualified with good teaching experience. The curriculum offers a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Faculty members are supportive and helps in aligning with our interests and goals.
Other: Our university is exceptional and loved the students for its unique induction programme (Yes+). The starting makes the life filled with pace and fun.

Good infrastructure good experience.
Placements: The placement is quite good for our college, with almost 98% of the batch able to secure a job, and around 2% of the students are those who back out of the placement process. The highest package that was offered was around thirteen lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The hostel has all kinds of basic amenities. The warden is very nice, and the preparation and maintenance work gets done very quickly. The department has teaching aid facilities with classrooms and labs present, and we have Wi-Fi connections all around the campus.
Faculty: Different semesters have different difficulty levels, but on average, the passing rate is 80%, which is medium. The faculty members are very experienced, and they have good industry exposure. They try to help with the interview process, and the curriculum is relevant.
