SRM Ramapuram cutoff 2025 is available on this page. Students can view the cutoffs for different exams, courses and specialisations from the exam-wise sections given below. SRM Ramapuram Cutoff 2025 has been released for all rounds and categories. To know more, see the sections below. Other exam-related updates are as follows:
- The NATA 2026 application window is open for the BArch programme. The phase 1 examinations will be held till June 13, 2026, and the phase 2 exam will take place on Aug 7 and Aug 8, 2026.
- The TANCET 2026 result has been announced for the MBA course. Students can log in to the official website to view their results.
- The ATMA 2026 July session application portal is now live for the MBA/PGDM/MMS programmes. Students can submit their applications till Jun 30, 2026, for the exam being held on Jul 12, 2026.
- The SRMJEEE 2026 phase 1 result will be released soon for the BTech and Integrated BTech-MTech courses. Phase 2 and 3 registrations are currently underway. Candidates can register till Jun 4, 2026, for the phase 2 exam, which will be conducted from Jun 10 to Jun 15, 2026.

My college is better for those who want a line-art college life.
Placements: Placements are done with those who have a good CGPA and score. More than placements, the college gives chances for internships. The students get recognised and recruited. Their skills play a major role. They have clues to develop skills and various hackathons.
Infrastructure: Classrooms aren't that worthy, Labs are equipped. Hostel rooms are okay. The canteen has a variety of food. But hostel mess is something you should adjust to. Boys play games, and they get more opportunities than the girls. The campus has its plus and minus points.
Faculty: Exams are held, and the pass percentage is 98 percent. Exams are conducted strictly, and so are the practicals. The university papers are average and won't be that difficult. We just have to follow prime time lessons, and all be good to go. We need to practice exam papers from previous years.
Other: I chose this course based on my interest. The best thing about my course is my classmates. Events are quite few at this college.

SRM is not worth the hype, an average university, but it's seriously not worth the money you invest.
Placements: Auditing, GST filing, and mostly lower-paid roles in small startups are offered. They also get a placement fee, which is also high. Roles are not the same every time they change, and sometimes people just decline offers because the pay is very low, so the placement is not good.
Infrastructure: The college has no parking facilities, no Wi-Fi signal, is under construction every day, and has poor parking management. Students always face struggles and jams near the parking space, some leave their vehicles off campus. The food canteen is so bad.
Faculty: College has good staff and a good depth of teaching. The good factor about SRM is their staff, who are obviously good at teaching, kind, and helpful. But the knowledge that you gain in class is so little that it can go nowhere. Before semester exams, you will really have good guidance from your respective staff.
Other: It is good for intercollegiate events. There are a lot of clubs in various departments. Only with curiosity and one's own interest can one be active, otherwise, one might be bored in college. Students have to actively participate in events, if not, the college might not have any events.

Good for placement & curriculum is easy to score. You have to develop good skills in your free time.
Placements: Placements are mainly ranging from 3 to 5 LPA. Above that, according to your skills and knowledge, you will be placed. Placements start from the final year. According to your CGPA, if you are above a 9 CGPA, you have a great chance. All the best to you.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi in classrooms in our college. Canteen food is reasonable, and no games can be played on campus. Actually, no playground is available. The hostel is expensive, starting from 1.8 lakhs per year. Even though there is no tasty food, you will never get it.
Faculty: No academic pressure is present on the campus. Sixty percent of the marks are internal, and 40 percent are external. Internals are filled with two mid exams and projects for ECE. It is easier to score marks than in other conventional colleges. The syllabus is pretty less than that of Anna University.
Other: It is not value for money.

Honest opinion on SRM Ramapuram.
Placements: This course gives good placements, ranging from 12 LPA to 24 LPA. It has given over 80% placements. The campus offers good placement support. The placement cell provides 100% support from the beginning. Beyond traditional placements, the programme emphasises practical expertise through the Centre for Cybersecurity Excellence, which helps students secure specialised internships and technical certification that often convert into full-time roles.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, since it is located inside the city. It may have some network issues, but other than that, the canteen offers affordable snacks at reasonable prices. Classrooms are well-maintained, and the bathroom offers hygiene. It has a good auditorium.
Faculty: Teachers train us very well, and we get good support from the faculty /staff. The programme balances foundation engineering subjects with specialised technical training to prepare students for industry roles. We engage in advanced specialisation topics designed for modern security challenges.
Other: It's a good choice if you are searching for a college in Chennai. It has good campus life and clubs. They have a free dress code and generally good attitude towards students.

BCA college better than most of the colleges.
Placements: Right now, I am in the 1st year of my college, and I rated placements of BCA for this course as 3/5 because 1- the first thing is that at least here, teachers and students talk about placements; normally, in most BCA colleges, placements are just something impossible. If you ask me about what percentage of students got placed, it's roughly 10-15%, which is still better than other colleges. Top recruiting companies - they are mixed, don't expect big companies, but still, some companies will come.
Infrastructure: The college infra is okay. The classrooms are also okay. They don't have AC, and the classrooms are just okay. Computer labs are quite better than classrooms. Computers are in good condition, and labs have AC. We have one library, but mostly it will be full. College doesn't have free Wi-Fi on campus. The hostel is good but expensive. The food quality is good, all services are good, but for experience, you will have the option for PG. I will suggest going for PG in the second year.
Faculty: Teachers are good, but 60-70% of the syllabus you have to study on your own; teachers are just for formality. They teach sometimes, and sometimes they will not teach. The course curriculum is good. I think it's better than B.Teach because from the 1st year itself, we started to learn about AI, Java, Python, and DSA. Sem exams - sem exams are simple. You can easily score above an 8-9 CGPA just by starting to study 1-2 weeks before the exam.
Other: Why I chose this course - I wanted to do B.Tech, but I didn't get a good college, so I am from another state, and I didn't have the information about the ground reality of the college. I was hyping this college as a top-level college in India, so that's why I joined. Events will happen here, but if you are from North India, they will be mostly boring for you, as they will only play Tamil songs and everything Tamil. But I never faced any discrimination as I am from North India.

Everything is good, neat, and clean. There is no objection to joining the SRM campus.
Placements: CSE has a great value in placement. Students who score above 8.5 percent will go for placements. The highest salary package offered is 70 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 40 LPA. Companies like Amazon, TCS, and Infosys hire students. Internships are based on our skills. Courses like AIML, GT, B.Tech CSE, Arts, IT, Laws, and Biology Microbiology are offered here.
Infrastructure: Everything is fine and good. Labs are useful for us. There is Wi-Fi. The hostel food is good, and they will clean daily. The canteen is also good. In case of any emergency, there is a hospital. There are a lot of games and tournaments.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly, and they will clear all doubts. They are knowledgeable. If we listen to class, we can easily crack the semester exam. The minimum CGPA is 8.5. The industry is always ready to take students with their skills, and the college will also support us.
Other: Extracurricular activities are also good.
