My college is better for those who want a line-art college life.

Faculty: Exams are held, and the pass percentage is 98 percent. Exams are conducted strictly, and so are the practicals. The university papers are average and won't be that difficult. We just have to follow prime time lessons, and all be good to go. We need to practice exam papers from previous years.

SRM is not worth the hype, an average university, but it's seriously not worth the money you invest.

Faculty: College has good staff and a good depth of teaching. The good factor about SRM is their staff, who are obviously good at teaching, kind, and helpful. But the knowledge that you gain in class is so little that it can go nowhere. Before semester exams, you will really have good guidance from your respective staff.

Good for placement & curriculum is easy to score. You have to develop good skills in your free time.

Faculty: No academic pressure is present on the campus. Sixty percent of the marks are internal, and 40 percent are external. Internals are filled with two mid exams and projects for ECE. It is easier to score marks than in other conventional colleges. The syllabus is pretty less than that of Anna University.

Honest opinion on SRM Ramapuram.

Faculty: Teachers train us very well, and we get good support from the faculty /staff. The programme balances foundation engineering subjects with specialised technical training to prepare students for industry roles. We engage in advanced specialisation topics designed for modern security challenges.

BCA college better than most of the colleges.

Faculty: Teachers are good, but 60-70% of the syllabus you have to study on your own; teachers are just for formality. They teach sometimes, and sometimes they will not teach. The course curriculum is good. I think it's better than B.Teach because from the 1st year itself, we started to learn about AI, Java, Python, and DSA. Sem exams - sem exams are simple. You can easily score above an 8-9 CGPA just by starting to study 1-2 weeks before the exam.

Everything is good, neat, and clean. There is no objection to joining the SRM campus.

Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly, and they will clear all doubts. They are knowledgeable. If we listen to class, we can easily crack the semester exam. The minimum CGPA is 8.5. The industry is always ready to take students with their skills, and the college will also support us.

SRM Chennai for B. Tech (CSE).

Faculty: Faculty is quite nice and tries to resolve every doubt. The curriculum is quite up to date and industry-friendly. The curriculum gets updated as per industry demand. The teaching quality is quite average, some faculty are good, some are just okay. The semester exams are of moderate level, with some internal exams and one end-semester exam.

I am able to communicate with our alumni seniors regarding companies required to hire.

Faculty: Teachers are generous and helpful in resolving any doubts on any topic. They are all highly knowledgeable in their specialization and could clear doubts in the native language if a student did not understand the concept in English. Semester exams are easy to clear, and the topics could be covered by referring to the materials provided by the college.

A solid start, but success isn’t handed to you.

Faculty: The quality of faculty members in B.Tech IT at SRM RMP is uneven and highly dependent on individual professors. Some professors are experienced, approachable, and explain core concepts well, but many rely on presentations. They do not explain concepts effectively. Students need to engage in self-learning.

Students may have some problems as the food is most of the time South Indian cuisine.

Faculty: Faculty are really nice and caring, and they provide good guidance and mentorship. The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. The course is kind of on the conservative side and does make some good remarks. The exams are quite tough as there are too many assignments and projects. About 90 percent of students usually pass the exams.

Overall, I will say that the college is very good for those who want to study and get jobs.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. But they still lack in providing proper quality education, making it difficult for students to understand. Honestly, the course design does not match today’s demands. It is very old. The semester exam depends on the preparation of the students. Those who study will get good scores. Regarding the syllabus, no questions are asked outside of it, and students have to score a minimum of 50 to pass the semester.

The college is good for those who want to study and secure good jobs.

Faculty: Though teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They still lack in providing proper quality education, making it difficult for students to understand. Honestly, these courses are very old, and the current industry does not use them, so the curriculum is not updated. The semester exam difficulty depends on the preparation of students, which means those who study will get good scores. The questions are bounded to the syllabus, so no outside questions are asked. Absolutely dissatisfied. Too crowded. No proper management. No planning of infrastructure.

Faculty: Most teachers are not well qualified. Even in speaking proper English, they occasionally start to speak in their native language, knowing well that more than 70% of the class is from other states. Exam papers are not made. They use last year’s question papers, make slight adjustments, and change the date. Sometimes the date is also not changed in the printout. They just shamelessly strike out the older date, write the new date, and get the prints again.

Good college but with high fees.

Faculty: Teachers are so good at teaching, but some of their attitudes are the worst as they carry the students internal marks. They show so much attitude to students, and some teachers are lacking in English. But the teaching is so good that there are no negative reviews about teaching.

Faculty: Overall, the faculty in SRM is friendly. There are no complaints about the teaching of the faculty, so it’s a good thing about this campus of SRM. They are all well-trained and well-experienced staff in my department, and they do their best to make the students' lives better.
