Overall, I will say that the college is very good for those who want to study and get jobs.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. But they still lack in providing proper quality education, making it difficult for students to understand. Honestly, the course design does not match today’s demands. It is very old. The semester exam depends on the preparation of the students. Those who study will get good scores. Regarding the syllabus, no questions are asked outside of it, and students have to score a minimum of 50 to pass the semester.

The college is good for those who want to study and secure good jobs.

Faculty: Though teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They still lack in providing proper quality education, making it difficult for students to understand. Honestly, these courses are very old, and the current industry does not use them, so the curriculum is not updated. The semester exam difficulty depends on the preparation of students, which means those who study will get good scores. The questions are bounded to the syllabus, so no outside questions are asked. Absolutely dissatisfied. Too crowded. No proper management. No planning of infrastructure.

Faculty: Most teachers are not well qualified. Even in speaking proper English, they occasionally start to speak in their native language, knowing well that more than 70% of the class is from other states. Exam papers are not made. They use last year’s question papers, make slight adjustments, and change the date. Sometimes the date is also not changed in the printout. They just shamelessly strike out the older date, write the new date, and get the prints again.

Good college but with high fees.

Faculty: Teachers are so good at teaching, but some of their attitudes are the worst as they carry the students internal marks. They show so much attitude to students, and some teachers are lacking in English. But the teaching is so good that there are no negative reviews about teaching.

It is a good college for a student who wants to shine in life.

Faculty: Overall, the faculty in SRM is friendly. There are no complaints about the teaching of the faculty, so it’s a good thing about this campus of SRM. They are all well-trained and well-experienced staff in my department, and they do their best to make the students' lives better.

Great college with excellent faculty, good placements, and strong infrastructure facilities.

Faculty: Faculty members are very knowledgeable, supportive, and approachable. They use practical examples while teaching, which makes it easier to understand complex concepts. The curriculum is well-structured and updated regularly to meet industry standards. Exams are moderately difficult but fair, with proper preparation, and most students can pass. The overall pass percentage is around 85-90%, and continuous internal assessment helps students stay on track.

Good infrastructure and peer group. Placements just started for the 2026 batch.

Faculty: Some teachers are almost overqualified, while others kind of sit around and let you do your own thing. Some are strict, others are super chill. It depends on your luck. Frankly speaking, you've got to learn industry-level subjects on your own; don't depend on SRM to teach you something better than on YouTube. Passing the exams should be a breeze; the internals themselves are 60 marks, so just try not to screw up too badly, and scoring 9.0+ should not be difficult.

You can join SRM Ramapuram.

Faculty: The faculty is very qualified. Their teaching skills are very good. The semester exams are in an easy manner. The teaching skills of the staff are very well-mannered. For student motivation, they bring an alumni for a speech, and the teacher who is working is very knowledgeable.

It is one of the best colleges.

Faculty: Teachers teach well, and every faculty member is very well-experienced and has a Ph.D. degree themselves. They communicate well with every student and interact. They solve the doubts, and you can easily clarify the solutions. Overall, the faculty is good at teaching.

A good and healthy college life with knowledge on what has been taught to the student.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly to the students and strict in some ways. They'll teach you in a good and understandable manner. This course curriculum is relevant. The pass percentage is 40%. The exams will be an easy one to clear, not that tough.

Overall a good college to pursue your UG or PG degree.

Faculty: The faculty members are friendly and their lectures are great. They help in placements and guide us on the right path to success. The college has various clubs ranging from coding club to cinematography. Moving into sports is a bit complicated in this college as it only contains an indoor sports arena and not a field.

Review of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai - Ramapuram Campus.

Faculty: SRM University's curriculum is totally different, with 60 marks internal exams conducted for M1, M2, and practical marks, and the external exam is for 40 marks. College faculty members are knowledgeable and helpful for placements. Yearly, twice, industrial visits are conducted. Staff members are very helpful with placements.

Good learning with good placements. Infrastructure is good, core jobs are limited, overall good.

Faculty: In our department, the staff are trained and well-qualified. The teaching is good, and the curriculum is similar and relevant to us. The semesters are conducted by the universities, so it might be a little tough, and the percentage has decreased for many students.

My review about this college.

Faculty: They provide course curriculum, subjects are fine, electives are programming in C, C+, data structure and algorithm, java or Dot Net, computer mathematics, artificial intelligence, computer network, computer graphics, robotics, organizational behavior, data mining, etc. The faculty is good, they are approachable and knowledgeable. The overall faculty in core subjects is good. However, the teaching methodology could be improved. Many of the faculty are involved in research work and they also help...

It has good infrastructure and facilities. It is a good college.

Faculty: It has very professional teachers they also teach us some practical knowledge. 60 is our internal exam and 2-3 CLA exams will be conducted for 15 marks and the rest of the marks are provided by teachers. There are 40% marks for the semester exam and in 100. The pass percentage is 50%, and if we get marks in internals, we should also attend the SEM, and if we get detained by attendance below 75%, then we need to attend summer class so we will not get arrears in our certificate.

To get into the Computer Science (CS) program at SRM, you usually need a rank under 10,000. For Information Technology (IT), the requirement is typically around 12,000, especially for the main campus. If your rank is below 20,000, you might still qualify for admission to one of the other SRM campuse
