Review of SRMIST Delhi NCR campus.
Placements: Around 70-80 percent of students got placed from our course. The highest package is about 36 LPA while the average is around 6 LPA-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Cognizant, as well as Flipkart. Internships are being provided starting from the 5th semester with companies like Nokia, Dell, and JP Morgan.
Infrastructure: Facilities of the campus are decent, while the library has sufficient resources. Classrooms are well-equipped with AC's. The hostel is good, with Wi-Fi facilities provided 24/7. Canteen is also available for hostel students as well as day scholars.
Faculty: Most faculty are qualified as well as helpful. Teaching quality is good, with regular lectures and practical labs held throughout the week. The curriculum covers core concepts of computer engineering. Semester exams are generally good quality. The pass percentage is decently high as well.
Other: I chose B.Tech CSE due to my personal interest in programming and Artificial Intelligence. The course can include more industry-relevant projects and collaborative experiences. The campus hosts events and hackathons for students as well as cultural events.

Overall details of SRMIST.
Placements: Presently pursuing my course at SRM Institute of Technology - Delhi NCR Campus (Modi Nagar). University has a good academic environment, and its curriculum is updated regularly according to industry requirements. The placement cell actively conducts training sessions on aptitude, technical skills, soft skills, resume building, and mock interviews for campus recruitment. Overall, SRM IST Delhi NCR Campus provides decent placement assistance, internship opportunities, and industry exposure.
Infrastructure: I live in I Block. The infrastructure is good. The food quality is good, and an oven is available. Wi-Fi is good for studying but not for gaming. Medical facilities are good, with one MBBS doctor available on campus 24/7. Ambulance services are provided for serious emergencies. The library is open till 8 PM for students to study.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive across departments. If students study for an hour daily, they can get good marks. Even preparing from previous year questions one night before exams can help students pass. Students who actively participate in coding competitions, which are organized by departments, and skill development sessions by CDC can get higher packages.
Other: Connectivity is very good. Bus facilities are available, and RRTS is also accessible. Extracurricular activities are available through clubs and societies from different departments.

A fantastic choice of college that is value for money for students.
Placements: The placements at SRM are comparatively good compared to other private colleges. They also charge a huge amount of fees. Around 60% of students get placed, while many students from the remaining 40% opt for higher studies or government jobs. The highest package I hear about is around 50 LPA, and the average package at SRM is about 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the CSE department is very good. We are provided with clean classrooms equipped with air conditioning and labs with updated systems. The hostel rooms are also cleaned and maintained regularly. The hostel staff is very helpful towards students.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-experienced and passionate about their subjects. They are always ready to help students. They have deep knowledge of their subjects. Curriculum has three written tests. They are two internal exams and one external exam, along with a weightage of 40:60.

Truth about SRM, exposed.
Placements: Around 90% of students get placed. The highest package I see is 1 Cr, with an average package of 12–15 LPA. Top companies such as JPMC, Logitech, TCS, and many others visit the campus. I am unaware of the roles offered since I have not sat for placements yet.
Infrastructure: The internet is decent. All basic tasks and heavy downloads are completed in a reasonable time. Classrooms are well-maintained, with AC in all classrooms and labs. Large classrooms provide a comfortable environment even at full capacity. The computer labs are the best part of the academic building. During winters, labs are heated to a very comfortable temperature.
Faculty: All teachers who teach me are very knowledgeable and have many years of experience. Some faculty members have an extraordinary understanding of topics in their domains. Most of the faculty members are excellent teachers who have great class control and really embed what they teach in students' minds.

It is a decent college, I think, with average placement, average faculty, & average infrastructure.
Placements: I estimate that around 40% of the students at my college secure placements. The highest package offered was 36 LPA, while the lowest was likely around 3 LPA. As for internships, quite a few students manage to land them. But overall placement is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at my college is decent, though not exactly excellent. However, it does provide all the necessary facilities that a student requires to pursue their course. But in my opinion, I don't think the infrastructure of my college is good.
Faculty: Teachers at my college are actually quite good. They are extremely helpful. They really do prepare students for the industry. Passing in this college is very easy, anyone can pass. The passing percentage of my college is 50%. You have to score atleast 50% to pass.

I shouldn't have come here. Decent infrastructure, bad hostels, and very average placement.
Placements: The exact percent of students placed is a mystery, because here they follow the unethical practice of banning you from placements, meaning if you're getting a 4 LPA package. You think you deserve more. If you say no, they blacklist you, meaning you won't be allowed to sit in the placements anymore, and you will also not be counted towards the no of students who applied for placement, so their selection percentage goes high. The highest I know of is 36 LPA off campus, and 24 on campus by Amazon, the lowest it goes down to 3.6 LPA, and the average is 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi capped at 30 Mbps with only 3 devices supported. Labs are good, classrooms are decent, and the library is also good. The hostels are bad. The food goes from decent to incredible frequently throughout the week. We. We only have 3 canteens and 2 restaurants. The canteens only sell a limited amount of stuff. You can't even find soap or toothpaste on campus. The medical facilities are very limited. The ambulance is often used as a taxi for the rich kids. For sports, we have good stuff: football, volleyball, basketball, cricket, and an indoor room for chess, table tennis, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are a mixed breed. Some will help you, some won't care, and the average is that they don't know much about what's going on in today's world. The curriculum is outdated, especially regarding coding, and it moves all over the place. There is no linear path that goes step by step; it just bounces from one topic to another. The exams are kind of difficult, especially because the passing requirement is 50 percent; below that, you fail, and also they used to take 4 exams in total, which they have reduced to 3 per semester.
Other: I chose this course as my last option. The best thing is that if you're good, it's easy to stand out because of the low-quality crowd here. To improve the course, it would be better if they just did a mid sem and an end sem exam, and also changed the curriculum to be more up to date with today's standards. Events are mid, it doesn't matter if you take part or don't, this college is not for making connections, if you want connections, you should go take part in other colleges' events.
