Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) typically admits a confined variety of college students for its MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) programme each academic yr. The actual quantity of college students admitted may additionally vary depending on elements which includes the provision of faculty, infrastructure, and compliance with regulatory recommendations set via the Medical Council of India (MCI) or different relevant governing bodies.
Generally, medical schools adhere to strict norms concerning scholar-instructor ratios, infrastructure centers, and affected person-care requirements to ensure quality schooling and education for aspiring medical doctors. Therefore, the quantity of college students admitted to the MBBS programme at SRHU is probably to be decided through those regulatory requirements and the college's capacity to provide adequate assets for clinical training and education.
After you have completed the MBA application process on the official SRHU website, candidates must wait for the university to release a merit list of shortlisted students. This merit list will be based on the applicant's merit in the qualifying examination and CAT/MAT/GMAT/CMAT/XAT score. Shortlisted candidates are required to appear for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD-PI) conducted by the department. Final selection decision will be based on your performance in the GD-PI. Selected students must confirm their admission by submitting the prescribed SRHU MBA fee.
Admissions to the Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training (MANET) are determined by UGC rules, AICTE regulations, and DG Shipping policies. Admission to the full-time MANET BTech (Marine Engineering), BTech (Lateral Entry), and BSc (Nautical Science) programs is determined by the results of the most recent qualifying exam and the IMUCET score. Both residential programs are available from MANET. All applicants must meet further physical, medical, age, and gender requirements in order to be admitted to the academy. MANET has a track record of placements abroad with numerous reputable businesses.
Unfortunately, direct admission to Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) without going through the application process doesn't usually happen. The procedure for accepting students at SRHU is very well-defined; fair and merit-based selection. SRHU's programs are mostly filled through the JEE Main and other centralized admission systems such as state-level engineering entrance examinations for B.Tech or NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) national admittance test for medical studies.
SRHU, with a relatively smaller student body than larger institutions of higher learning, may lack seats in each program. PerhapsSRHU follows internal policies and regulations set by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or other regulatory bodies, which do not allow direct admissions outside of normal procedures. Submit your application online or offline by the designated time frame.
While allocating the seats to the applicants, SRHU Dehradun follows the seat reservation policy specifed by the state government of Uttarakhand. As per the information available on the web, the university reserves 40% of its seats for permanent residents of Uttarakhand (PRU). Candidates can visit the university's official website to learn more about the programme-specific seat reservation policies.
SRHU Dehradun offers a full-time MBA programme in various specialisations. All these specialisations are offered through the university's Himalayan School of Management Studies. Students joining the general MBA programme can choose to specialise in one of the following four specialisations:
- Financial Management
- Human Resource Management

In addition to the general MBA programme, the university offers two new-age MBA programmes. These programmes are MBA in Agri-business Management and MBA in Healthcare Management.
SRHU BSc admission for most BSc specialisations is merit-based. The university admits students to various BSc specialisations (except BSc in Nursing) based on their Class 12 merit, provided they meet the preset eligibility criteria. Students may be called for counselling before final admission to some specialisations. For a BSc in Yoga Science & Holistic Health, students will have to undergo a medical examination to establish their fitness for the course. For BSc in Nursing, SRHU conducts the Nursing Entrance Exam (NEE) in the offline mode. The exam consists of 100 MCQs based on topics including Aptitude for Nursing, PCB (Class 12) and English. Interested candidates can apply for admission to all the BSc specialisations through the university's official website.
Candidates willing to take admission to the BPharm programme of SRHU are not required to take any entrance exam. The university's BPharma admission is merit-based. The university releases a merit list based on the applicant's aggregate score in PCB/PCM subjects in Class 12. For lateral entry, the selection is based on the applicant's merit in DPharma. Candidates just need to ensure that they meet the eligibility ciriteria specified by the university and submit an online application before the stipluated deadline.
