Yes, SRTMUN conducts an entrance exam for admission to PhD course. The university conducts PET in pen and paper mode at three centres, namely Nanded, Latur and Parbhani. The entrance test is conducted for two hours and includes section-A and section-B. Section-A is related to research methodology and includes 50 questions. Section-B is subject specific and includes 50 questions.

SRTMUN provides good hostel facilities to non-local students. The boys' hostel contains 212 rooms, while the girls' hostel has 246 rooms. Sports Complex: The University also holds a Sports hostel with 36 Rooms, a dining hall and a seminar hall. Also, the university offers these sports facilities for the overall physical development of students and to infuse sports spirit in them.
