B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2026

Great infrastructure and learning but lacks management and placements.
Placements: Till date, only 20% of the students are placed, with the average package being 4 LPA. The placement is very low compared to previous years, and the companies that visit are not really great, mostly providing approximately 4 LPA. The only roles offered are as software engineers in campus placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is at par, with hostels around average facilities. Wi-Fi is accessible everywhere on the campus, and the labs provide great student facilities. The quality of the food in the boys' hostel is not great, and campus food is better. The college's inclusion and motivation in sports is very good. Students also need to note that the hostel is based upon marks and admission category, and everyone might not get a hostel allotted. The other option is to live outside the campus in nearby PGs, and the experience is the worst.
Faculty: The teaching staff is well-qualified, but the knowledge imparted is on the lower side of average compared to other colleges. The course is well outdated as it is affiliated with the old syllabus, and students are not completely ready for the modern-day industry and need to prepare on their own for newer opportunities. The semester exams do test the student's knowledge over the semester.
Other: I chose this course due to modern-day requirements in the IT industry. There aren't really great things in this course, but the faculty supports students' requests and initiatives. The events and fests are behind similar colleges. The crowd isn't bad, but some students are really rogue, and it is good to be away from them.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028
Offered by Mahatma Gandhi Mission's College of Engineering, Nanded

Really good infrastructure, the worst faculty.
Placements: The average package is around 3 LPA, and the highest package is around 10 LPA, but only 25% of students get placed in the CSE department. Take admission in Information Technology or Automation and Robotics instead of CSE; you will get a lot of opportunities and qualified faculty compared to CSE.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too good. The hostel is good, and the quality of food is nice. The sports faculty is not working and has some personal issues. In sports, there is no crowd, and you will get free Wi-Fi to use. There are 10 labs in the CSE, so there is no problem; you will get many chances.
Faculty: Some faculty members are not good because they have ego issues. They give their favourite students full marks and intrude on your privacy, like cutting your hair. It should be maintained just like in school, and some teachers are old-fashioned.
Other: No events, no fests, no sports. There is only one event throughout the year, and that is Jhankaar. Except for Jhankaar, you will not find a single fest or event in the college.

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2026
Offered by Dnyanopasak College of Arts, Commerce and Science
3.2

A decent choice for BCA students with good campus life.
Placements: Dnyanopasak College of Arts, Commerce, Science, and Technology provides decent placements. It supports students who are serious about building their careers. Around 20-30% of students from our batch get placed through campus drives. The average package offered is around 1.5-2 LPA, with the lowest package starting from 1 LPA and the highest package going up to 5-6 LPA depending on the course and company.
Infrastructure: College has a well-maintained campus with spacious classrooms. Along with computer labs, science labs, and Wi-Fi. A good library with sufficient academic books and journals. Laboratories are regularly updated. They are useful for practical learning. Campus environment is peaceful. It is suitable for studies.
Faculty: The BCA faculty members are friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable. Most teachers explain concepts clearly. They are always ready to help students outside of class hours. The curriculum is well-structured. It covers both theoretical and practical knowledge.
Other: I chose the BCA at Dnyanopasak College because I am interested in computers, programming and the IT field. This college offers a good academic environment at an affordable fee. The best things about this course are the supportive faculty, regular practical sessions, well-maintained labs, and the overall disciplined study atmosphere. College also encourages students to participate in seminars and project work. It helps in improving confidence and communication skills. Some things that can be improved are increasing industry-based training, advanced software tools in labs. More placement drives from product-based companies.

M.Sc. in Computer Science - Batch of 2025
Offered by R.E.S.'s College of Computer Science and Information Technology

Tuition fee is affordable to pay.
Placements: Emerging companies like Elin Electronics, Keynes Technology, Optimus Electronics, and VVDN Technology from the side of electronics are major recruiting core companies mentioned in the records, alongside top MNCs like TCS, Infosys, and EY, which are a few of the companies with higher pay.
Infrastructure: The requests of students are taken into account immediately, but they provide solutions only after a long time by having frequent discussions about it. They are charging only a minimal tuition fee, as students from the native area, along with those from weaker sections, are applying.
Faculty: Basically, the students from the home state are the majority, so teachers frequently choose the native language for communication. Faculty from the native region are mostly preferred for hiring, so management plans evening classes frequently for students to improve their academic results.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) - Batch of 2026
Offered by Channabasweshwar Pharmacy College

Life and learning at Channabasweshwar Pharmacy College.
Placements: An average of 10 percent students are placed in the course. The highest package is 4 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies for B Pharmacy are Cipla, Sun Pharma, and Dr. Reddy. Internship is provided by our college in Grinsaons Pharmaceutical Industry, Satara, and also at V Square, Mumbai. Posts like HR, clinical pharmacist, data analyst, and pharmacovigilance are the top roles. The placements in my college are decent but improving. Some pharmaceutical companies visit the campus for roles like medical representative, production trainee, quality control, and sales.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is very well maintained, and there are a number of facilities such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, and garden. There are various hostels present in the surrounding of the college. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is also good. Medical facilities are available in the college. Sports days are held in which cricket, volleyball, football, tennis, chess, etc., are played.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified with qualifications such as M Pharmacy, Ph.D., etc. Teachers are very helpful in solving any problems related to students. Teaching quality is very nice among all the colleges present in Latur. The B Pharmacy course makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and these are not that difficult, but continuous study is necessary. At least 3 subjects should be cleared for students to pass.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the pharmacy field. I like to gain information about manufacturing of tablets and how it works. The best part of B Pharmacy is it provides information about medicine, and it is very interesting. I wish the job opportunities would improve after completion of B Pharmacy. Events are conducted by our college such as Traditional Day, Mismatch Day, Twinning Day, Dance. There are no fests. Campus crowd is normal. Campus surroundings are not that good, but it is what it is because good things come with some bad things.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2029
Offered by Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology

3Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Average placements with a great campus and teachers.
Placements: The highest package is 18 LPA (2025 interim; down from 22 LPA in 2024). Exceptional cases in past years reached up to 52-60 LPA (e.g., via off-campus or top tech roles). The lowest package is 3.5-4 LPA (typically from mass recruiters like TCS or Infosys). Average package is 6.5 LPA (2025 interim; up from 5-5.65 LPA in 2024). For CSE specifically, the average often ranges from 8 to 10 LPA due to better opportunities in teaching.
Infrastructure: College has very great infrastructure, like 9/10, almost every department provides Wi-Fi, classrooms are spacious, well-furnished, and clean. Speaking about the hostel, the first year hostel rooms are very bad ( 3/10 ), lack basic facilities, but since the second year onwards, the hostels are good too.
Faculty: Teachers are kind of helpful, most of them are highly skilled in their respective subjects, many of them are Ph.D. scholars from topmost institutes of India like IITs, and a few have foreign degrees as well. Sem exams totally depend on you, about how you study, the exams are not at all easy, but the majority of students make it.
Other: I have an interest in CSE, hence I chose this course, but instrument engineering is the best course in the college, having 100 percent placements for a decade. Talking about fests, so guys, this college is not for you, fests are very few here. Campus is 10/10, the greenery of 45 acres is just heaven.
