1- Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of reserved category of candidates belonging to reserved category as per guidelines of UGC / AICTE / Respective Council) in the above subjects taken together and must obtain an equivalence certificate from the AIU.

2- All foreign qualifications need to be verified by the AIU by the candidate before seeking provisional admission.

3- To promote international understanding between Indian and Foreign candidates, SSPU has reserved seats for NRIs/International candidates in every division.

4- Qualifying score in JEE or Symbiosis Engineering Entrance Test conducted by SSPU 

5- Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the selection process as set by SSPU.
