TNAU offers various specialisations spread across different fields of agriculture and allied sciences. At the time of application, students must indicate their choice of specialisation. Mentioned below are the specialisations offered by the university:

As per the TNAU Overall NIRF Report 2024, a total of 312 UG (4-year) students were placed during recent 2023 placements. Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Application Process is conducted online for all the courses. Online application is a compulsion for TNAU Counselling, entrance exam and admission. Candidates are required to follow the step-by-step process as follows for the PG and PhD courses:

Step one: Visit the visit the official website.

Step two: Click on the Apply Now button against the PG or PhD course.

Step three: Register by filling in the required details. Provide the correct mobile number and email ID.

Step four: Once the ID and password are generated fill out the online application form.

Step five: Pay the application fee.

Step six: Upload scanned documents.

Step seven: Recheck and submit the form.
