No, students cannot enroll for MBA admission if a student who have passed class 12 from other states. Only those students who have studied in State Agricultural Universities (SAUs)/ Colleges affiliated to SAUs/ Central Agricultural Universities (CAUs)/ ICAR Deemed Universities/ Central Universities with Agriculture Faculty registered by ICAR/ any other institutions accredited by NAEAB (ICAR) unaccompanied are fit for admission to TNAU for MBA programme.

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University has not released the 2023 placement report or brochure. However, the NIRF report 2023 is out. According to the report,  154 UG (4-year) and 72 PG (2-year) students were placed during 2022 placements. The median package offered to UG (4-year) and PG (2-year) students was INR 3.62 LPA and INR 5.32 LPA, respectively. A candidate who has experienced a course credit system with a least OGPA of 3 out of 4 or 6.6 out of 10 in a bachelor’s degree programme can apply for a master’s programme. However, for SC/ST candidates, minimum OGPA of 6.5 out of 10 in a bachelor’s degree is eligible to apply for MBA course.

The MBA admission at TNAU is online. There are no any other medium available to apply for MBA course at TNAU. Students need to pay the application online fee of MBA programme at TNAU.

No, candidates who are interested to pursue MBA admission at TNAU need to submit the documents online. Students need to submit the same at the time of online application. Although submitting the applications online, if mandatory softcopy documents are not uploaded, then the application will be immediately rejected without the candidate’s knowledge.

In order to get admission in PG course at TNAU the university conducts it's own entrance test called GAT-B. Students applying for DBT supported GAT-B MSc (Agriculture) Molecular Biology & Biotechnology programme need not appear for TNAU Common PG entrance examination led by the School of Post Graduate Studies, TNAU, Coimbatore.

The student shall apply for only three subjects in the TNAU PG programme. Separate fee is to be forwarded for each subject. Candidates looking for admission to PhD can apply for only one subject.
