Good campus and a healthy environment.

Placements: Every year, around 30–40% of students got placed during the campus placement drive. The average placement package was around 4–5 LPA. The top recruiters included Deloitte, Federal Bank, Dabur, etc. 100% of the students received internships in various companies like SBI Life, car dealerships, Dabur, and various FMCG companies.

Infrastructure: Facilities included Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and libraries were well organized and systematic. The infrastructure was very convenient for students, which helped them fulfill their needs. These facilities helped create a very peaceful environment for the students.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was of a high standard and well-mannered. The activities in the course curriculum were relevant to the subjects. This helped in making the students industry-ready. The semester exams were very competitive in nature, with a pass percentage of 40.

Other: I chose this because it was one of the top universities in the North-East region. That offered integrated courses. The teaching quality, facilities, highly qualified teachers, and curriculum were the standout aspects of the course.

A great campus life and modern infrastructure.

Placements: Although Tezpur University is the best University For commerce in the North eastern region but the placements are average. 40 to 50 percents of the students got placed, where the highest package was 10.5 lacs and the minimum was 3.5 lacs and were recruited by companies such as Axis Bank Federal bank etc. About 70 percent got internships And the top role offered was the role of a bank manager.

Infrastructure: The campus life at the University is very good Like here you can enjoy free Wi-Fi in the hostel as well as in all other departmental building The library is fully automated and you can issue upto 5 books at a time as a student and also renew it via the central library website so you can use a book for the whole semester. I was staying at Patkai means Hostel I had no issue regarding ragging or any other misbehaviour by the seniors One can also use the washing machine for washing clothes and entertain by visiting the common room.

Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and knowledgeable Most of the teachers use power point presentation for giving tutelage which really helps in a better understanding of the topics But according to me the course curriculum is not much relevant for practical life however one thing that I can assure you is that yo will definitely learn how to handle pressure because the semester exams are really tough and forces you to give your best. The pass percentage in my course was around 85 percent.

A young but promising department of one of the best universities .

Placements: Placement is okay in the institute. Many students get placements in regional finance companies. There are some who have cleared NET exam and have gone for research. As the department is new, placements as of yet are not strong, but it shows promise.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is excellent. Classrooms are equipped with everything a modern day classroom needs. Starting from projector, smart board and advanced digital writing facilities are available. Hostels are equipped with all the infrastructure, good toilet and bathrooms and spots equipments .

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. The current HoD is an ex professor of IIM Shillong. This helps the students to learn from the wisdom and experience of national level teachers. The other professors are also qualified and gives their best to make learning a wholesome experience.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty. Infrastructure and transport facility is highly apprecia

Placements: As this course is not much old there is no facility for placement yet. However every student of 9th semester gets internship in various companies. The authority of the department are seemed to be least bothered abput placements beacuse nobody shows up for placements. However other departments has a very good records of placement.

Infrastructure: Department of commerce is well-equipped with the latest technology helpful for academic purposes. There are projectors in every classroom along with sets of computers. Every classroom is a smart classroom. Hostel rooms are well furnished with standard size of rooms. Hostel food is very homely and there meals are provided in a day. Canteen facility is available both in hostels and departments. University has lawn tennis court, basketball court, volleyball court, football playground, pitch for cricket. It also provides infrastructure for indoor games which includes table tennis, badminton etc. There is proper medical facility in the campus. Doctors are available from 9am-5pm. However in emergency cases doctors are available as when required.

Faculty: The course structure is very strategic which covers all important subject areas essential for Bachelor as well as Masters degree. The faculty is however not up to the mark. The teaching methods adopted here is very reluctant, the teachers are not approachable even they are asked to teach subjects out of their interest area.

Good infrastructure, great curriculum, satisfactory faculty.

Placements: Being a course which is more inclined towards academics, there were no placements for our previous batch. While for this batch placements are still in process and we've a hope that there will be positive outcome for it. While everyone of us got internships.

Infrastructure: Our classroom infrastructure is different from that of other departments. Every classroom is equipped with a projector and the majority of classes are taken with the help of it. The hostel feels like home. There are various sports facilities with A1 quality equipments. Various inter-department and inter hostel events keep happening from time to time. I've learned volleyball right over here and it's my favorite sports as of now. There is provision for table tennis and carrom in hostels itself.

Faculty: The course curriculum of Int. M.Com is competitive enough with rest of the universities. Our subjects match with those of Delhi University and Kolkata University and we can say we're at par with them. It makes us industry ready. Also, the department provides Interpersonal Skills classes so as to improve our employability and make us learn how to have a good conversation with people and how to prepare ourselves for interviews. As far as the faculty members are concerned there are requirement for better professors.

Other: Since it is an integrated course both Bachelors and Masters will be done at one go. We don't have to worry about entrances after completing the Bachelor's. This course is quite relevant for people who want to go into academic background like pursue their Ph.D. or M.Phil etc. The campus is beautiful. It gives a lot many opportunities of relaxing after the hectic class schedules. Maintaining a minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory otherwise we are not allowed to sit for exams and there is no way out. Also, for girls, the leave procedure is quite hefty. We have to take a lot of signatures before going on leave. So, that is an issue.

It is a good institute in this region with the best campus life.

Placements: Placements in our college are not par compared to the universities in our region. Hopefully, the placement cell will do a better job in the coming years. The first batch of our department will be passed out this summer. But, only a few students have been placed in one of the top accounting firms of India.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best in the region. In 2016, it was recorded as the best university, and no one can deny the facilities it provides to the students. It is an example for other colleges in that region. Every year, TU providing more facilities to help the students.

Faculty: Many of the faculty members in our college are new, and they are doing good with time and experience. They are very cooperative and always willing to help. The course curriculum is at par with top institutes in India. The course is updated every year with the introduction of new accounting techniques.

Other: Our university is doing well in AIU events. Sports and cultural team secure a position every year.

The admission eligibility is min 60% in 10+2 PCM and pass marks in English and also you will have to appear for CUET- UG and the total seat intake is approximately 40-50.

Yes, definitely you can get admission to Tezpur University without having mathematics in Common University Entrance Test CUET UG because mathematics is an optional subject while pursuing Bachelor's in Commerce Bcom and if you haven't opted for mathematics in your 12th then there is no need to opt it
