As per the Tezpur University admission guidelines 2025, admission to most of the course is based on CUET exam. Therefore, candidates must have a valid CUET score. After having a valid score card/ rank allotted, interested candidates need to check for the merit list, which is released from the university side from their official website. Only those applicants will be eligible for further process of securing a seat in Tezpur University whose score card/ rank is as per the merit list of TU. Candidates can get admission to Tezpur University with 60% in courses like BEd, BA, BSc, BTech, Integrated MBA, etc. 

Tezpur University has a total of 20 academic departments and the courses include BSc, BA, BCom, BEd, MA, MSc, and MBA among others. The University offers respective courses in the fields of Engineering, Medicine & Health Sciences and Business & Management Studies, etc. Admission to the respective courses is offered based on a minimum aggregate secured in Class 12 and graduation. The University offers respective courses at a total tuition fees ranging from INR 4 K to INR 1.29 Lakh. In comparison to other universities offering the respective courses, the affordability is convenient along with scholarship privileges. 

Tezpur Unversity accepts JEE Main score for the admission to BTech and BTech Integrated courses. Considering the Tezpur University JEE Main cutoff 2025, the Round 1 seat allotment for the General AI category candidates stood between 48058 and 83934. Among all the BTech specialisations, the most demanded was BTech in Computer Science and Engineering. Similarly, the least demanded specialisation was B.Tech. in Food Engineering and Technology.
