Quite frequently the course is updated.

Placements: The top recruiting companies that come for placement are Zaloni, Tech Variable, Cognizant, Alliance, etc. Around 60% of the students get placed and if we talk about internships, around 40% of the students get them. The top roles are software development and web development.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are modernly designed, and you have audio-visual aids available where you can do various presentations. There is tight security and with that, you have the medical facility available 24/7 on the campus. We also have a basketball court and cricket ground.

Faculty: The faculty members are very nice and they have very good industry experience and have a lot of industry connections. There are various electives for specialization, and the subjects that are compulsory are industry relevant and the exams are not that difficult.

Good quality education support.

Placements: The highest package that was offered for the student was 4.5 lacs per annum and the lowest salary that was offered was around 3 lacs per annum. The average salary is between 3.5 and 4 lacs per annum. The placement rate for our batch was 60 percent.

Infrastructure: We have a good modern classroom, and along with that, we have labs that have the latest software so that we can learn that during practical sessions and get placed. We have hostel facilities with shared rooms and in the mess, we have both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

Faculty: The teachers are quite good with their experience and try to share the same with the students. Along with that, they try to make the class interesting while motivating students. The course was built keeping in mind the needs of the industry and its relevance.

Review of Tezpur University.

Placements: In our college, around 60% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA to 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Zaloni, Tech Variable, Cognizant, Alliance, etc., visit our campus. A lot of students get internships at CDAC.

Infrastructure: Our college provides excellent infrastructure. High-speed internet is available. Systems are good in the lab. The quality of food in the hostel is good. Sports facilities are good. A medical facility is available 24X7. Ambulance services are available.

Faculty: The new faculty members are very good and helpful. They do their best to make students understand not only bookish knowledge but also real-life knowledge. Semester exams are easy. The course curriculum is somewhat outdated.

Other: The campus life is excellent. The ambiance is very good. Scholarships are provided. If you are good at extracurricular activities, TU is the best place.

Review of Tezpur University - TEZU.

Placements: Almost 60% of students get campus placements and internships from here. Companies like Intel, etc., visit here for placements, so the highest salary package offered could be more than 20 LPA. Mostly local startups as well as some companies like Amazon, Intel, Amul, etc., visit here. There are a lot of opportunities from the MCA course.

Infrastructure: Facilities are quite good for Central University. Our university is highly equipped with the latest technology, and it has a library. There is a separate department library, and the books are issued from the library. As there are a lot of hostels in the university, every hostel has its own canteen where you can get snacks and coffee, tea and baking products. Some hostels even serve international food. Our university has a huge playground as well as an indoor stadium where indoor games are organised. So, a lot of sports activities are conducted.

Faculty: The most important thing about this university is that the teachers are quite helpful, and they tried their best to clear the doubts of students. So, there's no problem with asking questions regarding learning and all other things. Even some teachers try to improve the content of the course, and they improve the course structure and add new topics to the new courses. I think if you attend all the lectures from those professors, then it won't be hard to pass semester exams, or if you make some efforts, then you will definitely get good marks in your semester. So, getting good marks in this course is not very hard, but if you have weak basics, then you have to work hard for that. The faculty members here are top-notch.

Other: After MCA, you will get more offers from IT companies, and you are more eligible to do a job. So, I chose this course. I wish that our college should provide more practical sessions that would be helpful for students and will make them more industry-ready. Apart from that, the campus organises its annual function, which is quite exciting. Many students from other universities participate in it.

It is a good university for graduation or post graduation.

Placements: The packages offered to the placed students were below average. You have to be really bright to get placed in a good company.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is good. It has the best labs for every course. The library is well kept. Besides studies, there are a well-equipped gym, two basketball courts, football field, tennis court, volleyball court and badminton court in mostly all the men's hostels. An auditorium and swimming pool are yet to be provided. All the classrooms are average or below average. Both theoretical and practical knowledge is provided to the students. The department focuses more on the students having good theoretical knowledge.

Faculty: Faculty members in the computer science department are the best in the northeast, I can say. They have given a good contribution to the computer science branch. But, most of the new faculty members think that they have got a teaching position at Central University in Assam. There are also some faculty members who give no contribution to the community because they're too busy bullying students.

Other: The university helps students organise many events. It has tech fests, science week, arts week, hostel week, you name it and the fest is conducted. The university nurtures talent a lot other than academics. Although the vice-chairman during my tenure didn't treat any talent as a talent unless it was related to academics. Students love to do other activities as well along with studies.

Absolutely satisfied with the quality of teaching.

Placements: Placements are kind of okay. Placement cell is doing its job efficiently though. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Zaloni, Amazon have visited the campus for the recruitment process. For the internship programs, many companies have shown interest, and quite a good count of students have been recruited from our batch.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is absolutely amazing with all the facilities like free Wi-Fi, library, health centre, sports club, computer centre, guest house, hostels, cafeteria, yoga centre, dance club, sophisticated classrooms and laboratories etc., to list a few. The entire university campus is well maintained, and the security here is strong.

Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified and professional over here. They don't just teach for the sake of teaching. All the faculty members are very serious about their profession and are always ready to pass their knowledge to the students. They are very helpful and responsive. Anytime you can go and clear your doubts. They are always ready to help.

The admission eligibility is min 60% in 10+2 PCM and pass marks in English and also you will have to appear for CUET- UG and the total seat intake is approximately 40-50.

Yes, definitely you can get admission to Tezpur University without having mathematics in Common University Entrance Test CUET UG because mathematics is an optional subject while pursuing Bachelor's in Commerce Bcom and if you haven't opted for mathematics in your 12th then there is no need to opt it
