Our college is good in infrastructure .

Placements: Placements in our college are good. 70% of students were placed last year. One of the top recruiting companies at our college is Byju's. The average package offered during campus recruitment is around 10 LPA. Finally, placements on our campus are satisfactory and good.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities in our area are good. Wi-Fi, lab equipment, classroom infrastructure and a library—all kinds of facilities in our college are of good quality. The food available in our hostel mess and canteen is really good. Other activities, like sports and games, are also encouraged in our college .

Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified and knowledgeable professors. They help us in all academic activities and also in interested extracurricular activities. Our course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams at our college are difficult. The pass percentage is 75% .

Other: Apart from academics, our college also conducts some fests. The government provides us with scholarships as an encouragement .

Good and best-environment college but lacks the facility of placement on campus.

Placements: Due to COVID, the companies didn't come for the recruitment. But before COVID, famous companies came for freshers placement. Students usually have to apply for off-campus placement. Very few companies come for campus recruitment and only a few are selected.

Infrastructure: It has the required and useful instrumentation in the labs. There is a very good environment in the classroom. Wi-Fi works great at high speeds, but sometimes there may be a problem with the connection. The hostel premises are great and the working staff is really helpful and sweet.

Faculty: Teachers are great. They provide and help you with immense knowledge. We provide presentations every semester and it helps to correct our mistakes. It makes the student industry ready. But for the exam part, it is too much. It contains 4 exams, and the semester is for 5 months only.

Other: As I am interested in biological science, I took this Life Science course. It has various practicals and has made me learn a vast knowledge of biology. The thing I would like to improve is the placement cell in this department. Overall, its a good department. Here, many events and festivals happen, and the famous Inscignis is a famous event for science students.

Our college has rude teachers.

Placements: Our college provides few placement opportunities. The highest salary offered is Rs. 40,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. Around 70-75% of students get internships.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Labs, ICTS labs, smart classrooms, and the central library are available. The quality of the food is average. There are swimming pools, a basketball court, a badminton court, and volleyball courts for both girls and boys. A gymnasium is available.

Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Exams are average. It depends on the teachers for the level of difficulty of the examination paper.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. There should be better communication, and the bonding between teachers and students would improve the course. Our college organises many events, like science fests, cultural fests, and students' varsity weeks.

Satisfied because of the faculty, good campus and really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Since the programme is more inclined towards a PhD. So there is no placement record for our department. The department is more research-centric as many of the professors are excellent researchers in their respective domains. As for the internship the department conducts summer school for its students.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course are central libraries, 24*7 Wi-Fi, and smart classrooms. The hostels are situated in a mindset of lush green trees and the mess is clean and serves hygienic food. The hostels also have game rooms for recreation and relaxation.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The curriculum is relevant. The semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage for the semester exams stays around 70-80%. Although the curriculum is relevant but it could have added courses to make one industry ready.

Our college has good placements, facilities, and infrastructure in the year 2022

Placements: Some students got to study in institutions like the Tata Institute of Social Science and some chose to study further. The average salary package offered was 8 LPA. The usual recruiters were Byju's, CBSE government, and private schools like Army School, KV's, NVS's, etc. Students got internships at IIT, IISER, etc. There was the usual teaching internship in B.Ed., where all students were divided into groups. Each group performed internships in schools like Kendriya Vidyalaya, Napalm, Panchmile Girls' High School, Napalm High School, etc.

Infrastructure: All departments and hostels are equipped with high-speed campus to connect Wi-Fi and LAN facilities, a 24X7 library, gym, lab facilities under each professor, and good security. The food served is good and special dishes are provided on some occasions like mess endings, farewells, etc. Hostel conditions are like those of 3-star hotels. The Patkai Men's Hostel of Tezpur University is one of the largest hostels all over Asia.

Faculty: Some of the professors are very renowned. Some are members of UGC and some are FRS. Teachers are friendly and the teaching quality is very relevant with time. The pass percentage in each course is an average of 98%. Professors have done their doctorates and post-doctoral studies in institutions like Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, IITs, MIT, IISER, IISC, etc. Some professors are from IITs.

Other: The best thing about the course is a dual degree in minimum time. A B.Ed degree is essential nowadays. I was very eager to learn about the teaching of mathematics and I got to learn it through the course. Many events are organised at the university. Students are so talented in the outdoor activity field. The university always gets a secure position in the National University Festival. This is a top university in the world and is accredited with an A+ by NAAC. This is the only university to get an A+ grade from the NAAC.

Professors help you through your projects, with questions and doubts.

Placements: First of all, it's a course of Science and no one (other companies) will come to get you a placement on the basis of your merit and all, you have to find jobs on yourself, that's the way it is, has been for years because you are pursuing a degree on 'Science'. Most of the seniors got a placement/got selected for Ph.D. in a good university (80% of them) because they studied good. There is no package offered in my course because it's just a B.Sc+M.Sc degree. There is a MoU signed between TU and Queen's University, Belfast. Due to that there are various student, from my course, are pursuing their higher degrees Ph.D. post doctorate. In that university. And toppers from each got internships in various reputed universities and institutions. Also you can apply for those on your won.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is little bit old, but good enough. But Physics dept. Will be shifted to another building shortly, to a new one. There are Wi-Fi and computer labs. But practical labs are little bit small to hold colossal amount of students. Hostels are very big, have Wi-Fi, good bathrooms, canteens and mess-food is good enough if you like masalas. Inside some the hostels there are badminton, volleyball courts to play on too.

Faculty: Teaching quality is not that good online, but offline teachers, professors are helpful. I find the course curriculum is also good/average. Opinions on the difficulty of semester exams, is subjective, varies person to person. Being a crammer who study right before the exam, I can say that the exams are easy enough to score a 7 CGPA.

Other: I would have changed some of the professors (20%) who are rude to the students. Being a Physics professor, if you make the students bored and fatigued, then you should change your teaching system. Rest all are good.

The admission eligibility is min 60% in 10+2 PCM and pass marks in English and also you will have to appear for CUET- UG and the total seat intake is approximately 40-50.

Yes, definitely you can get admission to Tezpur University without having mathematics in Common University Entrance Test CUET UG because mathematics is an optional subject while pursuing Bachelor's in Commerce Bcom and if you haven't opted for mathematics in your 12th then there is no need to opt it
