Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET) offers several scholarships for BTech, MTech, MA and MCA students. Scholarships such as Merit-based, Merit-cum-means, for Msc, MA and other PG courses are provided to the eligible students. Candidates must the eligibility criteria to avail these scholarship programs.
To get the BTech Merit Scholarship-I at Thapar University, applicants must complete their Class 12 and must have scored more than 95%. Additionally, the applicant must be among the top 50 students based on their All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Main 2024, regardless of her/ his engineering branch.
For continuation of the scholarship in the second year, applicants must have a minimum of 8.50 CGPA in all previous semesters. In BTech Merit Scholarship-I, students get a total fee waiver.
Yes, the Deemed-to-be University offers several merit and merit-cum-means basis scholarships. These scholarships are available for the students of BE/BTech, LEET, MSc and MCA courses.
