One of the best private colleges in Rajasthan.
Placements: The reputation of placement of this college was one of the best among the private colleges. The average package was 8 LPA. The highest package was above 15 LPA. The main companies for recruiting were TCS, Tata Motors, Microsoft, Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, etc. The roles that were offered were production engineer, design engineer, quality engineer, etc. The internship in my course was very good in the local area.
Infrastructure: The campus provided smart classrooms to all the department students with A/C. Mechanical labs were highly advanced, and the CAD labs were also good and tidy. Robotics labs have been introduced recently and have high-quality products. The library was very big with sufficient books and digital access. Hostel facilities were better than those at other private colleges. The mess food was full of variety.
Faculty: Faculty members of my branch were highly qualified, and I think all of them have earned a PhD. Most of them were from a research background and were very humble in nature. All faculty members tried their best to teach in the easiest way possible. The course was refreshed each year according to current affairs. Semester exams were very tricky if you didn't keep in touch with the books and topics that were essential. The course made the students industry-ready.
Other: The benefit of studying at this campus was that it was possible to get a well-paid internship.

2026 Thapar University Review. Placements, life and admission.
Placements: My branch has the best placement in the whole college, from software tech roles to electronics core roles to non-tech roles that were offered. This year, 98% placement record with an average package near to 19 LPA. Placement is decently good. Our college also has a minimum cap for companies; any company offering below 7.2 LPA is not allowed in the placement season. Despite that, 500+ companies visit every year.
Infrastructure: Hostels are like hotels. In fact, they actually are hotels converted to hostels. Best infrastructure. In fact, the college has several awards for best infrastructure. We have Asia's 7th largest library. Infrastructure is mesmerizing, an architectural marvel. However, these days there is too much construction that spoils the vibe.
Faculty: Faculty is one of the most respected faculties across the country. Some teachers are paid so much because of the levels of excellence they have in their subjects. Although exams are tough and there is too much pressure from exams. Exams are one of the worst times of the year.
Other: We are number 1 in India in sports. In all major hackathons, our students are in the top 3. We have North India's best and largest fests. The only bad part of this college is the in-time of hostels. Hate that honestly.

It is an okay college if you don't have any other options, but it's very expensive.
Placements: In my branch, around 80% of the students got placed, and the average package is around 11 to 12 LPA. The top recruiting companies are from computer or electronics, and the majority of the people go for computer jobs in my branch. According to the fees of the college, the placements are not that great, but if you really work hard, you can make something of yourself and achieve a good package. The college also has a 50% quota for Punjab residents. AI branches have also been introduced, so it might be a good option.
Infrastructure: The library is actually very good with good Wi-Fi. Labs and classrooms are well facilitated, the mess food is very good since we are in Punjab, and the hostels are very good too. The sports facilities and medical facilities are good too, with gyms in every hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are okay, but you have to do all the studying yourself. The courses are kind of old and not very relevant. Like in every college, you have to study on your own. Classes are just for attendance mostly, but the labs are important. The treatment cell continuously organizes different workshops and upskilling activities to make the students ready.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2028
Offered by Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences
4.2
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Good university for BBA students, with supportive faculty and decent campus facilities.
Placements: I am a BBA student of the recent batch. Placement opportunities in our course are moderate. Around 40 to 50 percent of students get placed through the campus placement. The highest package is around 17 LPA, and the lowest package is around 10 LPA. Around 60 to 70 percent of students got internships during my course.
Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure for students. Classrooms are neat and clean. The campus is well-maintained. It has Wi-Fi, a computer lab, and a library with many academic books and study materials for BBA students. The campus has grounds for football, volleyball, hockey, badminton, table tennis, tennis, basketball, etc. It also has a swimming pool.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Many teachers explain topics clearly and support students with assignments and projects. The BBA course curriculum covers important subjects like marketing, finance, and business communication, which help students understand the business environment.
Other: I chose the BBA course because I am interested in business management and marketing.

Good college but uncertain future.
Placements: I believe the percentage of the coe batch this year is low. It is around 50 to 60 percent. I believe the highest package went around 50 to 60 LPA. The lowest package is 4 to 5 LPA. The average package this year for coe is approximately 12. Do not worry about companies all the top companies like De Shaw, JPMorgan, Apple, Nvidia, Microsoft, Google, Deloitte and many more come here for recruitment. The percentage of internships is not disclosed. Top roles offered are SDE, Data Scientist and cloud computing.
Infrastructure: Its a private college, infrastructure is absolutely top notch. Hostels are air conditioned and your classes are air conditioned. Right now my college is undergoing an overhaul. New infrastructure is being built so in the next 1 year this college will look nothing less than a 5 star property. The library is Indias the biggest and Asias 7th biggest so yeah. Hostels are top notch quality of food which is also decent unlike government hostels. All types of sports facilities are available on the campus and many are under construction.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality depends upon the teacher you get. I mean the curriculum is good but I believe no college makes you industry ready. It is the student who has to put in the effort and make themselves skilled. Semester exams are easy you can easily score a 8.5 + sgpa each sem. Pass percentage is also decent although I do not have an exact percentage. I do know that the passing marks are 35 and if you are failing by a mark or so they give you race marks.
Other: I chose this course because the future is all about tech. It is considered the highest branch. Other than that, the package. I believe irrelevant courses like EDP should be removed because they add no value to me as a coe student. Overall they can reduce the orthodox methods of teaching and increase practical stuff more. Events are good top fests are Saturnalia Thapar food fest and E summit. Connectivity is not really good, many people I know first have to go to Delhi and then go to their respective destinations.

The college is good, but the intake of students is too high.
Placements: In my course, the average package is around 13LPA. The highest package is from last year, around 1.23 crore per annum. He gets into Rubrik. The lowest package is around 7LPA. Companies like Uber, Meesho, and Zomato recruit students from Thapar. The placement percentage till now is 50%. Roles like AI engineer, advanced engineer, software developer, and data scientist are offered in our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. The Wi-Fi speed is average, but the classrooms are very good. The library is a 5-storey study space and is quite aesthetic. Nearly all types of books are available in the library. The hostel is clean, and the mess food is hygienic. Sports like cricket, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, etc., are available.
Faculty: Nearly all teachers have earned their Ph.D. from IIT or IISC. Teachers are qualified in their course. The teaching quality is like that of other colleges. Teachers just read the slides. I am not quite sure if the curriculum is relevant, as I just started the 2nd semester. The semester exams are easy to score. Out of 8 questions, only 2-3 are difficult. The rest are directly from the notes. The pass percentage is around 30-35%, depending on the subject.
Other: I chose this because it offers a wide range of opportunities. The main event is Saturnalia, which is held in November each year. It is quite good. Scholarships are available based on your JEE scores and your grades in the semester. The intake is around 10,000 just for the COE branch. Which is too much, and also for the COPC branch, it is 460.
