Internships are pretty good, but on-campus placements are not provided, So, you have to apply on your own or with the help of teachers for the internship.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2028

Good placements, but bad for ECE.
Placements: The placement percentage is impressive, with about 85 percent of the eligible students from the ECE course getting placed. Regarding the salaries, the range is quite wide, with the absolute highest package hitting 52.09 LPA. The most representative figure for the majority is the average package at 15.05 LPA, with the median package being very close to that, at 14.00 LPA. The lowest packages seen across the engineering stream typically start around 7.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the ECE course is not so good as the department doesn't have its own building. We use shared labs, and Wi-Fi is often slow. In contrast, the hostel facilities are quite good. The mess food is okay-okay, but the canteen is decent. The campus has excellent sports facilities.
Faculty: The faculty quality is mixed. Some are good, but some are not good teachers, though all are highly qualified. The biggest problem is that our course is so outdated. It focuses too much on old theory and does not make us industry-ready for today's market. We have to learn modern skills like competitive coding and AI independence. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is generally high.
Other: I chose ECE mainly because I am getting this one, even though I originally wanted CS. Since Bhopal is close to my house, it was the best option available.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2027

Not up to expectations, but still the best available.
Placements: Honestly, placements for MCA students have gone down drastically this year. It has been three months since the placement season started, and barely 15 out of 115 students have been placed. Many are happy even with a 5 LPA offer, which shows how low the expectations have become. We all worked hard and cracked a tough exam to get into this college. They hope to earn at least 1 LPA after a master’s degree, but the reality has been quite disappointing.
Infrastructure: The MCA department does not have dedicated classrooms. Classes are conducted wherever an empty room is available. Sometimes one lecture happens in one building, and the next is scheduled in a completely different building. We end up wasting a lot of time just moving from one building to another. The hostels are excellent, honestly the best part of the college. Rooms are well maintained, and the mess food is really good considering the price we pay.
Faculty: Faculty is very good, well qualified, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated. The curriculum is well designed and updated, and exams are conducted smoothly. There are many invigilators in a room. Apart from the professors, their PhDs also come for invigilation duty.
Other: We have fests like other colleges, but they happen only once a year.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2028

4Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Good placements in 2024 to 2025.
Placements: In B.Tech electrical engineering in 2024 to 2025, out of 129 registered candidates, all 129 got placed. The highest package is 55LPA, the lowest package offered is 7.5LPA, and the average package offered is 9.5LPA to 11.13LPA. In the core sector, the top recruiting company is Bharat Heavy Electrical Ltd.
Infrastructure: There is a Central library on the campus which has about 1.5 Lacs books,1627 thesis/dissertations. There are digital resources about 7000 books and 5000 journals. Hostel has good facilities, and there is a LAN facility for the internet. There is no Wi-Fi in hostels. Sports facilities are decent, there is a sports complex with equipment for most sports. There is no AC in most of the classrooms except for a few.
Faculty: Most professors are knowledgeable and open to discussion of doubts even after class hours. The quality of teaching is pretty good. The course provides specialized knowledge that can be used in multidisciplinary problems in the field of electrical engineering. Semester exams are not too difficult, their difficulty is above average. 75% attendance is mandatory to pass the semester.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2027
4.2
3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Good campus life, but concerning placements.
Placements: Record low placements this year, only around 10-15% placed till now, around 18- 19 LPA is the highest till now and 8-9 LPA is the lowest, around 13 LPA being avg. The top recruitment companies are Texas, Adobe (PPO through summer intern), MSCI, and 4 students got summer internships in Adobe. The top roles being offered are SDE1, ML engineering and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi in classroom and labs works fine (around 60mbps). Labs are in good condition, but mostly, we use our own laptops as the system over there is just not capable of handling the tasks. Okayish classrooms (no AC). Library is good, though timings are fixed 9-5. Hostel room is good enough, but the cleaning is an issue in the hostel, hostel food is below average. Sports facilities like football, badminton, TT, chess, kabaddi, basketball, volleyball and even a gym are available. Multiple canteens, but small ones, don't expect too much. Dispensary available for medical needs, free for all students.
Faculty: Most faculty members are at their best in their work and are helpful in all ways, including studies. The course curriculum is very relevant and according to industry needs only. Exams aren't difficult at all, just study in class carefully, you don't even need to study for it later, in our course, 95%-100% students pass.
Other: Whether the career is made or not, the experience is already made, a crazy experience.

Good second option, scope for improvement.
Placements: Placements were good in the past, but right now, many people are getting only mass hiring, while only 15% are getting good packages. So far, 18.5 LPA is the highest and 6 LPA is the lowest package for the 2026 batch. Top recruiters include Adobe, Cisco, Texas Instruments, MSCI, Quantiphi, etc. Only 5% have got an internship from the 2027 batch, roles being SDE and Technical Consultant.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, and hostels are available to all. LAN is available in all rooms of the hostel, and Wi-Fi works in the college academic buildings. Classrooms are good and spacious, but lack air conditioning, otherwise, they are great. Labs are also equipped with good systems. Food would be a good 6/10, not very poor but not that great either.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and supportive, but the course lacks the latest industry standards and is mostly outdated. You'll have to learn new technologies on your own. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but you can get a good idea from past 5-year question papers. Pattern repeats, questions vary.
Other: I chose this course because a B.Sc. degree doesn't hold much value in the industry, and you would probably have to go for a master's to get a good job. The best thing is we don't have to study very hard to clear our academic loads, so we have ample time to explore new technology and things. If the industry-related knowledge were inculcated in the syllabus, students who have to deal with two different sets of things will be better. There are a lot of active societies running in the college, and fests are organised with full enthusiasm.

M.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence - Batch of 2027
3.8
4Placements3Infrastructure5Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Good placements and facilities. Well-qualified and supportive faculty members.
Placements: Placements are good. In the 2024-26 batch, more than 50% of students get internships in good companies like Dell, Intel, SapLabs, KPIT, GE Verona, and many more. They provide an average package of 15-18 LPA. Roles offered include software engineer roles, AI engineer roles, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus is very large, covering 650 acres. There are two girls' hostels with double rooms. Labs and classrooms are good. The library is average, with few seats and many books, but it is not very useful. Labs are very good for research. Hostel food is too spicy, does not taste good, and the menu is not very appropriate.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and knowledgeable. They are supportive and encouraging. They always encourage M.Tech students to do research and publish papers. The course curriculum is good and relevant to the industry. Semester exams are quite difficult, but as it is an autonomous university, it is easy to score well by attending classes seriously.
