Internships are pretty good, but on-campus placements are not provided, So, you have to apply on your own or with the help of teachers for the internship.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028

Satisfied with my faculty, facilities, and etc.
Placements: Percentage of placement is about 80 to 85 percent. The highest package is 20 to 25 LPA, the lowest is 4 to 6 LPA, and the average is 10 LPA. Tata, Maruti Suzuki, Bajaj, and others hire students. Nearly 5 members are placed at present in 3rd-year students. Mechanical designer, product engineer, design engineer, graduate engineer trainee, etc., are top roles.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and old, but it is getting excellent day by day. Faculty are well qualified and experienced. They have good teaching skills. Hostel maintenance is good, and hostel infrastructure is good. The food is nice. Sports and games have wonderful infrastructure to play, and there are good number of opportunities.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. They help with understanding. Teaching quality is excellent. Of course, the curriculum is really helpful to make students prepared for industrial training and activities. Semester exams are competitive, and we should think to solve questions. Pass percentage is 95 to 99 percent.
Other: Because of my interest, we can design new machines with innovative and creative ideas. The course is going well according to requirements. Co-curricular activities are excellent.

Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal: A reality check.
Placements: Last year, the ECE branch student placed about 75 to 78 percent. The placements are going very well so there are good chances to have a placement of more than 90 percent this year. The highest package is 56 LPA and the lowest is 8 LPA. The average package is around 15 LPA to 16 LPA. Recruiting companies include Qualcomm, Micron, Nvidia, Microsoft, and Qubit. The percentage of students who got an internship was a bit low but about 25 to 30 percent.
Infrastructure: We lack a dedicated building or department building for the ECE but a quite good place is arranged for it which is in the main building. Classrooms are average. The library is available along with Wi-Fi. Labs are good. The hostel is also good but that is not enough. It lacks some sort of facilities. Mess quality is good.
Faculty: Some teachers are just amazing in ECE but others are average or below that. The course curriculum is relevant but lacks some regularity. This doesn't make the students industry-ready in that way. Semester exams are really tough here. The pass percentage is about 70 to 80 percent.

B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Mathematics and Data Science - Batch of 2029
3.8

Good infrastructure and placements in 2025.
Placements: Out of 30 around 24 to 26 members were placed. The highest package this year was 64lpa and the lowest is 7.5 LPA till now and average would around 15 to 20lpa. Top companies are Microsoft, amazon, Uber etc. This year I think 3 had got the internship that too from Amazon. Many roles are related to Software development and some are data analyst .
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi everywhere in the department labs, library, and classroom. In the hostel, we have a LAN for every room. We have washing machines on the ground floor. Food is not bad, not good, it is average. As I am from the state of Telangana, the food is not that good for me. We have a canteen. Medical facilities are available. There is we play sports and games in the sports complex.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Here is the good quality of education. This course makes the students industry ready. There might be a good future for data Science. Semester exams will be moderate if we study. He should have 75 percent attendance and he should pass in all subjects. I think a minimum of 4 CGPA in every subject.
Other: I chose this course because there is a good future for Data Science. This is the best for my JEE rank. I wish that more members are placed on core of the branch Data Science. Our college conducts events, Fests, and many extracurricular activities. Some students get scholarships.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028

Good surroundings with greenary good facilities, events and good faculty.
Placements: Almost 95 percent of the students got placements in computer Science and engineering. The highest package in Mani is 82 LPA. The average package is 22 LPA. The median package is 15 to 18 LPA and the lowest package is 7 to 8 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, and Intel. Almost 30 percent got internships at Google and Microsoft. The top roles offered in my course are Software Engineer, Data Analyst, Full Stack Engineer, and Machine Learning.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi network in the college is good but it is slow. Using a LAN able on our own increases the speed of the internet. In our department, we have only computer labs and computers are working well but some of them have to be replaced as they are old. The classrooms are excellent and can accommodate almost 110 to 120 students, can be filled freely and the board is visible from the last bench also. Hostel rooms have decent facilities with a study chair and a balcony in their rooms but the bathrooms are not good. Their cleaning should be improved. The food quality is average.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are highly qualified and have good experience and the interaction between students and teachers is also good. The curriculum in this course is relevant and it includes subjects related to coding languages, compilers, computers, database management systems and mathematics etc. Most of the languages are theoretical and we need to prepare on our own to get placements and internships. Semester exams are not very difficult and they are easy to pass. The pass percentage in our course is 90 percent.
Other: I am very interested in programming, problem solving and the placements in the college are quite good. The subjects in our course are mostly theoretical. They can be improved. Internship opportunities should be improved.

Choose this NIT if you get a good branch.
Placements: Above 90% of students in my branch get placed. You can also join various clubs related to your branch, which definitely help with placements. I even heard from my seniors that in a CSE club, the placement percentage was 100% last year, with an average package of 35 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent but not at the level of IITs. Some new buildings have good facilities, but most of the campus is older since the institute was established in 1960. Overall, the institute is worth it.
Faculty: Some faculty members are very good, while others are not. At last, you need to study on your own to get good marks.
Other: If you don’t get an IIT but get a good branch here, this is a great option.

It provided good placements in 2024, good infrastructure, and amazing senior-junior interaction.
Placements: Placements in chemical engineering were decent. Students got placed in core, product management, consulting, and even IT fields. Last year, the placement percentage was around 85 percent. The average package offered was 8 LPA. The highest package ranges from 10-12 LPA. Major companies that hire students are Amazon, ZS Associate, Piramal Finance, JSW Group, Reliance, Park+, and Tata Power. ZS Associate recruited 4 students with a package of 22.5 LPA in the domain of analytics. Amazon hires 2 students in the domain of management with a package of 30.5 LPA. In terms of internships, the condition was not very good. Very few students get internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is pretty decent. The infrastructure of the sports complex is very good. There are proper facilities for most of the sports like badminton, lawn tennis, table tennis, volleyball, cricket, football, and basketball. There are a few restaurants inside the campus. There is a dispensary for first aid. Ambulance is available 24x7. Food quality is satisfactory. A proper LAN facility is available in every room. The library is old but quite huge. Classrooms for the new batch of 1st year are really good. Most of the departments have their own building, except ECE and a few new branches.
Faculty: Few teachers are helpful, especially my Maths teacher. Teaching quality is pretty good. We will definitely have a few teachers who are very extraordinary. The course curriculum is relevant, but there is some outdated curriculum, especially in 1st year. Semester exams get difficult in the 2nd year. In 1st year, exams are not that tough, but we need to study at least one week prior to exams.
Other: I chose this course because I got it with my rank, and it is the best option. In terms of placements in core branches, it is much better than other tier 2 NITs. Campus life is also very good. There are three major fests named Maffick, E-Summit, and Tooryanad. There are several clubs that host severe events and contests. A lot of events keep happening on the campus.
