It is the best college you can get in Tripura. The admission here was absolutely worth it.

Placements: Most of the students didn't go for placements as all of us were planning for either the NET or TET examination. Two or three of the students went for placements, and they got their jobs. The students who went for placements got their jobs on online teaching platforms. Those are good enough for gaining experience in teaching. The top recruiters are TalkEng and Byju's.

Infrastructure: We have a full-fledged library here with all the books we need. The problem is that the stock of books is limited. The Wi-Fi networks are always available. Hostellers can avail of 2 to 3GB of high-speed (300mbps) internet. Regular students get 1 GB/day in the library. You have an adequate number of computers here. You can access these for your presentations, projects, dissertations, etc. The hostel is very cheap. You can avail yourself stay, food, almost 18 to 20 hours of electricity, water, and internet for just around Rs. 20,000 per semester. The mess provides above-average food, and it is freshly served. We have a buffet system here.

Faculty: Teachers become friends eventually. They are highly qualified and have taught at reputed institutions like JNU, DU, and Shantiniketan. Some of them are also JRF holders. They guide you and help you with making decisions for the future. Almost all of them teach you up to the mark.

It is an ideal place to spend one's college life.

Placements: We have 28 students in our batch. Out of which, 7 or 8 students applied for the placements and 3 of them received successfully. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. One of the top companies that came was Byjus. Talking about my batch, none of my batchmates were able to get internships in any of the companies. Some of them were offered the post of sales managers.

Infrastructure: The campus has all the modern-day facilities. It had free Wi-Fi of 1 Gb per person per day. There is a poor hostel facility on campus. Hostels were clean and the quality of the food was so good that one wouldn't feel as if they are staying out of the home. The campus had securities all around the campus. They are 24 hours ready to help you with any difficulties. The campus had a well-built library with all the necessary books for every course. A big size football ground is available too. Any cricket lover can come anytime and play with everyone, whenever people play cricket on the ground.

Faculty: The guides and the teachers were qualified enough. Most of them had a doctorate degree in some identified field. The teaching quality and the environment were quite good. The teachers were one of the best I have ever had in my life. Almost 70% of faculty members in every department had doctorate degrees. Not only that, the quality of their teaching was certainly unique. It makes one ready for any industry. They come out not only with the degree but they also get the confidence to express their thoughts in front of any person standing next to them and confidence always makes a big difference in every field one goes. It's not much easy. One needs to score 35% to get to the NEST semester. We had to face 2 main examinations in a semester along with 2 internal exams which are for 20 marks.

Other: It was my personal choice to choose to appear for the NET examination and for that, I had to complete master's. ICFAI has not only given me the knowledge I seen to appear for the NET exam, it has given me the confidence to go to any field. ICFAI organises many debate competitions through out year, food festivals began from the previous year. It has a yearly fest named ICARIA, it is a 3-day function. Bollywood celebrities come and sing for a night. Dj night is the main attraction every year.
