University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur (UEM Jaipur), offers a regular Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programme in five specialisations, further divided into multiple sub-specialisations. The university also offers Dual specialisation under the BTech programme in four disciplines of Engineering. The duration of the regular BTech programmes is four years. Besides this, UEM Jaipur also provides direct admission to the second year through the Lateral Entry programme of three-year duration. The mode of education at UEM Jaipur is full-time. Admission to the BTech programme is purely entranced exam-based.

UEM Jaipur BTech Admission 2026: Eligibility and Selection

Admission to BTech, BTech Lateral Entry, and BTech Dual Specialisations courses is entrance exam-based. Candidates seeking admission to the BTech programme at UEM Jaipur must meet the following eligibility:

• Eligibility:

BTech: Class 12 (all subjects) from a recognised board with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects and one among Biology/ Chemistry/ Vocational subjects as the third compulsory subject with a minimum of 45% aggregate in the three compulsory subjects

BTech Lateral Entry: Diploma (or a diploma certificate) from a recognised institute (as per UGC/AICTE) in the appropriate branch of Engineering & Technology with 45% aggregate OR BSc degree with a minimum of 45% aggregate with Maths as a subject (BSc students are required to clear Engineering Graphics and Engineering Mechanics of First Year of Engineering)

• Selection:

BTech: IEMJEE/ JEE Main/ State level Engineering entrance exam

BTech Lateral Entry: IEMJEE exam/ State-level lateral entry Engineering exam

• Additional requirements:

-Good speaking skills to be judged during admission

-Shall not have a gap of more than two years till Engineering admissions
