University of Madras has all the qualities of a tier 1 university. The university placements are quite good. Also, the scholarships given by the university are good. The university has been rated 4.2/5 as per the Shiksha verified review.

For the MA Ancient History and Archaeology  (Regular & Self Supportive) course, the eligibility criteria is A students who has passed any UG Degree Examination of this University or an examination of other universities accepted by the Syndicate as

Yes, The Madras University requires the TANCET exam for MBA admissions. Anna University conducts the TANCET exam for state level MBA and MCA admissions. PG admissions in Tamil Nadu for MBA and MCA courses is done based on TANCET exam followed by the TN MBA MCA counselling process.
