There are no PGs near IMU Navi Mumbai Indian Maritime University, there is hostel in the campus itself for who got admission there and all have to stay there only weather from Maharashtra or any other state .you are not allowed to live outside the campus . 

There are many events happening in campus . firstly there is orientation programme for new students and seniors introduce you to campus and themselves.there is college fest anually in which you can take part. There is sports week whee different campus visit .

It totally depends on the rank and the category you belong to SC, ST, OBC. If you are in general you should be under 2500-3000 to qualify. The 10+2 must be completed in the science stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized board. In addition to the basic eligibility marks, the students are required to attend the National Level entrance exams such as IMU CET and other University level examinations to secure a seat for this course.

Final selection for BTech (Biotechnology and Bioinformatics) is based on merit score obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the University. The entrance test will be of one and a half hours duration. There will be one question paper containing 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Students having a valid score in JEE Main/ MHT CET will be exempted to take University-based exam. Also, admission to the BTech (Engineering) is done through qualifying JEE Main/ MHT CET exams.

According to the University of Mumbai ATKT rules, a student is allowed to have a maximum of 5 KTs (end-semester and internal) in the first year of BAF. If you have more than 5 KTs, you will not be allowed to proceed to the second year.However, if you have more than 3 KTs but less than 5, you will be allowed to proceed to the second year, but you will have to clear all the KTs before you can appear for the final year examinations.So, if you get more than 3 ATKTs in semester 1 of BAF and clear semester 2nd, you will not be admitted to the second year of BAF in IDOL Mumbai University. You will have to clear all the KTs before you can be admitted to the second year.Here are the ATKT rules for BAF in IDOL Mumbai University:* A student can have a maximum of 5 KTs (end-semester and internal) in the first year.* If a student has more than 5 KTs, they will not be allowed to proceed to the second year.* If a student has more than 3 KTs but less than 5, they will be allowed to proceed to the second year, but they will have to clear all the KTs before they can appear for the final year examinations.* The KTs can be cleared in the next two academic years.* If a student fails to clear the KTs in two academic years, they will have to repeat the year.
