Talking about seat reservations at Mumbai University, 13% of seats are reserved for SC candidates, 7% are reserved for ST candidates and 19% of seats are reserved for OBC category candidates. Other than the SC, ST and OBC categories, 11% of seats are reserved combined for NT (B), NT (C), NT (D) and DT (A) categories.  The University of Mumbai (MU) releases multiple merit lists every year followed by a counselling and document verification process to offer admission to students in MU-affiliated colleges.
