In order to pursue MBA from a Mumbai University-affiliated college, selection will be based on merit scores obtained by the students in one among MAT,  XAT,  CAT,  CMAT,  MAH CET,  ATMA,  GMAT,  NMAT,  SNAP,  SMAT exams accepted by the various affiliated colleges of MU. The University of Mumbai offers two-year MA and MA (Hons) programmes in multiple specialisations to students at the postgraduate level. Out of these, MA General has 27 specialisations under it, namely Hindi, History, Economics and Arabic, among others.
