B.Sc. in Biotechnology - Batch of 2028

Overall, it is best for biotechnology in the city of Jaipur.
Placements: As I am a B.Sc. student, I still don't know much but I still get information and details from my seniors as they get placement in valuable destinations and get a package in reputed companies, such as Sun Pharma, Cipla, B Lal Laboratory, etc. The package may vary for B.Sc. and M.Sc. students, it may be 30 LPA-35 LPA and more as all the students get the opportunity to have an internship in college and may do research in the early phase as per their choice.
Infrastructure: If I describe the facilities and infrastructure it is top rated as faculty and facilities both are very good, as labs, library, and classrooms are well developed and well managed. The hostel facility is not available in our college, but medical and sports facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable and have very good teaching skills and quality. The course curriculum is relevant and may make students ready to understand functions and theory for industrial jobs. Semester exams are not as difficult as those taken by RU. We get an RU-oriented certificate/degree.
Other: If I say it is the best college in my city for biotechnology, I am very sure about this and it gives a wide knowledge about everything as we have a wide range of career pathways in courses, such as researcher, scientist, marketing, lab assistant, and professors. The things I want to improve are more practical exposure by visiting more industries. If I talk about events, festivals, campus crowd, and connectivity, it is very excellent as seniors are very familiar and an anti-ragging community is there in college so ragging free, enjoyment is full, extracurricular activities, intercollege events are all present.

College has good faculty and placements with decent labs.
Placements: The placement record for our course is excellent, with nearly 100% placement support provided by the institute. Students receive opportunities through campus placement drives, industry collaborations, and guidance from the placement cell. Students from the Biotechnology course generally receive roles such as Research Assistant, Lab Technician / Lab Executive, Quality Control Analyst, Microbiology Lab Assistant, Clinical Research Associate (entry level).
Infrastructure: The campus has Wi-Fi for its students. Labs are well-equipped, as well as high-tech. Classrooms are also good as it has smart board, etc. The library is also good as it contains course related book as well as social and character development books. There is no such hostel of college, but PG and rental room is available nearby.
Faculty: Teachers’ teaching quality is good, and teachers focus on both theory and practical lab work. The curriculum, designed by the University of Rajasthan, is relevant and industry-oriented, helping students build strong fundamentals in Biotechnology. Semester exams are moderately difficult.
Other: I chose this course because Biotechnology offers good opportunities in research, healthcare, and the pharmaceutical industries. The best part of the course is the practical lab exposure, supportive faculty, and internship opportunities. The college organizes seminars, events, and extracurricular activities, which help students develop skills and confidence. The campus environment is good and well-connected to the city. One improvement could be more industry visits and workshops for better practical exposure.

Labs are excellent, and the hands-on experience we get here is the best in the entire Jaipur.
Placements: We are in the 2nd semester of the 1st year, so we are not allowed to do internships as per the protocol. We received information from our seniors that about 80 percent of students get placements from our college. The average package offered is around 3 LPA, and the highest package offered after a B.Sc in Biotechnology is around 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Labs of Dr. B. Lal Institute are quite good, and it is the strongest reason why we chose it. Our PG is quite good, and the environment feels like home with other batchmates and friends. The food quality they offer at this price, I doubt anyone can offer such food at such a low price.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and experienced. They give their best efforts to teach us. They organise doubt sessions, class tests, quizzes, and mock practicals. They use many interactive learning methods and explain to us the most important part of every chapter with special highlights for exams. Semester exams are easy, and all thanks to our teachers for that. They give the hands-on experience. Faculty members are quite interactive, and they help us grow our lab-based skills.
Other: Our college regularly organises events such as reel to real. Microscopy photography competition and streaming competition are organised. It recently organised Rajasthan's biggest biotechnology conclaves. It also organises more events to engage and develop our skills. It regularly pushes us to think about innovative ideas and opportunities to open a startup. They spend us on regular industrial visits and encourage us to take part in hackathons and ideathons to motivate us to build startups.

Satisfied with the college facilities, good academics, and great research. The college is good.
Placements: The placement cell offers a 100 percent placement policy to every student who is seeking a placement. Average package range between 4 LPA-5 LPA and the highest package range between 7 LPA-10 LPA with a potential of much higher. Top recruiting companies are Biocon Biologics, Dr. B. Lal Clinical Laboratory, Cipla, Lupin, Pathkind Labs, etc. Most students get internships in Rapture Biotech, Biocon Biologics, etc. Roles offered are Quality Control/ Assurance Analyst, Research Scientist, Clinical Research Associate, Sales Executive, etc.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available for students and classrooms are well-equipped with AC, projectors, whiteboards, etc. Labs offer the best in the field of instruments used in biotechnology. The library is fully filled with all biotech books, computers for bioinformatics work and a reading room. The quality of facilities is good. Food at the canteen is also good. The medical facilities can feel a little disappointing. The sports and games facility is also provided.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and experts in their field. Teaching quality is good and understandable. The course curriculum is highly relevant for competitive exams and also for becoming industry-ready. Semester exams are of easy to medium difficulty and almost everyone passes the exams easily.
Other: I chose this course because it is the future of biological sciences. Biotechnology has a very large scope in very diverse domains of biology. The best thing about this course is that we get to know how our surroundings filled with microorganisms actually works. The college regularly hosts events and also encourages students to go and participate in other colleges' fests and events. The college campus is plastic-free and very green due to a good number of trees and plants. Scholarships can be claimed through 12th board marks and semester exam marks and depend on some criteria.

The faculty is good and they help in every way possible. The campus is not too big.
Placements: Right now I don't have information about how many students get placed but the senior says there is 100% placement. Some students get placed in BIBT. I am in the first year soo now I don't have information about the package. Top companies are like Sun Pharma and Zydus. Most students get an internship like some students get deserted on the topic in which they are interested. Some students get an internship in their own BIBT.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not too bad not too good. The library is average but you can find every book related to your course in BIBT. There are 5 classrooms and the rest are under construction. Hostels are good enough and the food is inexpensive and good in taste. The medical facilities are not too good and the sports are too bad.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Teaching quality is nice. Some teachers give notes and some don't. It is curriculum-relevant and makes you get hands-on practice on every experiment and every piece of equipment. Semester exams are not too hard around 40 marks out of 100 is required. The theory exam and practical exam are different and you need to pass both to pass the semester.
Other: My personal interest is in bioinformatics which is why I chose it, and it's the future coming technology and a good opportunity for jobs. For now it's good. I don't think it needs any improvement but maybe in the future. I have spent around 7-8 months and the events I have seen are the Aarohan event, which is an intracollege event. Dandiya night and fresher party are conducted. Many colleges invite students of BIBT to their college fest like I have attended the IIT Roorkee fest, the Jaipuriya College fest, and many more.

You can join our college. You will like it when you see our labs and LT/classrooms facilities.
Placements: We have about 95% placement. I am pursuing a B.Sc. in Biotechnology right now, so I don't have that much knowledge. Lab technician or more roles are offered. Our seniors get internships and are placed at higher companies, and I think we chose a better college, so I will definitely get a placement at a better company. Join us today.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is amazing and fantastic. I like the furniture and smart boards, but we don't have any hostel facility. You have to check nearby hostels. If we talk about the library, it is also an amazing part of our college. There are so many books to explore in every field.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. We are more satisfied with our teachers. Curriculum is relevant in our college. There are no difficult exams taken, it totally depends on you how much you study. So join us as a BIBTian.
Other: All fields are good, but I want to explore science, so I decided to choose Biotechnology. There are many fields that you can explore. All events, festivals, and all are there, but our campus is too small.
