NEET SS Exam Dates 2025 (Released): Check NEET SS Result & Counselling Dates

The NEET SS 2025 exam will be conducted in a window of two days and two slots each day. The total duration of the exam is 150 minutes or 2 hours and 30 minutes. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will conduct the NEET SS 2025 exam on December 26 and December 27, 2025. Certain factors are kept in mind before deciding the exam date such as the timeline of the postgraduate medical courses, internship completion, exam date of other similar entrance exams such as INI SS, and other factors such as elections, festivals, etc. In case the pre-decided date is impacted, the exam date is rescheduled. 

The NEET SS 2025 counselling will start approximately one month after the declaration of the result. The NEET SS counselling dates 2025 will be announced by the MCC.

NBE or the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the NEET SS exam conducting authority, releases the cutoff scores or the qualifying scores along with the result. Even though NBE announces the NEET SS qualifying percentile in the information bulletin, the exact qualifying marks, or the NEET SS cutoff is released on the day of the result declaration.

There are two correction or edit windows provided only for those candidates who submit the application form on time by paying the requisite application fee. The first NEET SS application correction window is for making the basic changes in the application form, in the permitted fields. In the second and the final correction window of NEET SS, candidates are given the opportunity to correct the deficient or incorrect images or files uploaded, such as photograph, signature and thumb impression. Both the NEET SS application correction windows are provided for three days. 

The NEET SS 2024 applications were invited from February 4 to 24, 2024. The NEET SS 2025 application form was available from November 5 to 25, 2025. Hence, the application dates were not the same as last year. 

The NEET SS 2025 application form is expected to be released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) in the first week of November 2025. Along with the NEET SS 2025 application form, NBEMS will also release the notification and information bulletin. The NEET SS application process is completely online. Candidates have to visit the official website of NBEMS and go to the NEET SS exam section. After that, they have to read the complete instructions before registration, followed by the application. The NEET SS 2025 exam will be conducted on December 26 and December 27, 2025.

Candidates have to provide registration ID and password to download the admit card for NEET SS. Candidates have to paste passport size photograph on the admit card after download it. 

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, or the exam conducting body is expected to release the NEET SS 2025 result by the fourth week of January 2026. The scorecard will be available for download approximately a week after the result declaration. The exam will be conducted on December 26 and December 27, 2025, for a window of two days and slots.
