University of Hyderabad MBA Eligibility & Highlights 2025
The University of Hyderabad MBA is a two-year postgraduate degree course in full-time mode. The university offers MBA courses through campus and the School of Management Studies. University of Hyderabad MBA courses are available in General, Health Care & Hospital Management and Business Analytics specialisationsThe university also offers an MBA Executive.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must complete a bachelor's degree or its equivalent, and applicants must secure a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade from any recognised university for UOH MBA admissions.
Selection Process: MBA: CAT scores, followed by group discussion and personal interview.
- MBA Health Care and Hospital Management: Written test conducted by the university (75%) + Group Discussion (15 %), and a Personal Interview (25%).
- MBA Business Analytics: Written test conducted by the university (75%) + Group Discussion (15 %), and a Personal Interview (25%).
- Executive MBA: Written entrance exam conducted by the university, followed by a GD & PI.

CAT scores are only compulsory for admission to the General MBA at the University of Hyderabad. However, for an MBA in Health Care and Hospital Management, the entrance exam will be for 75 marks. Moreover, the weightage for the written exam will be 60%, the weightage for the Group Discussion will be 15 % and the weightage for the Personal Interview. Additionally, for MBA in business Analytics, the selection process is similar to MBA in HHCM.
Candidates seeking admission must at least have completed a three-year bachelor’s degree with first class (or its equivalent with 60% aggregate) in any discipline recognised by UGC/ Association of Indian Universities/ AICTE on or before June of the year of admission. Those completing their final examinations by June can also apply. Additionally, candidates must also have a valid score in CAT exam conducted by the IIMs. IIMs, however, play no role in the selection criteria of UoH for MBA. Online application form has to be submitted online and after filling the online application form, candidates must pay the application fee immediately using the online payment gateway link provided on the form. A list with the names of the short listed candidates is posted on the official website as per the given schedule and none of the shortlisted individuals are sent any communication in this regard.
