Uttarakhand Open University application forms are out is open for various UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma, and Certificate courses. The last date to fill the online application form has passed for the year 2025 . Further, the last date to apply for BA Yoga (Hons.) and MA Yoga has also passed for 2025. Apply online through the official website before the last date. The admission to the course is merit and entrance-based. Additionally, applicants must have to full fill out the basic eligibility criteria for their desired courses.

In case a candidate misses the deadline for Uttarakhand Open University registration, candidates can write mail or contact the admission office for assistance. In case nothing can be done, candidates are required to register in the next cycle. The university conducts admission in two cycles summer and winter. Admission to most of the courses is based on merit of the candidate in the last qualifying exam. In case of courses such as B.Ed, PhD, MBA and other courses, admissions are offered based on entrance exam scores.

Uttarakhand Open University MSc admission is merit-based. In order to get admission, aspirants must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Those who passed graduation in any stream are eligible to apply for admission to this course. The university offers direct admission to candidates based on their past academic qualifications. It's mandatory for candidates to submit a copy of their scorecard at the time of filling the application form. Uttarakhand Open University offers PG courses such as M.Com MBA, MCA MTTM and MSW. All of these courses are offered with the course duration of two years. Uttarakhand Open University also offers lateral entry admission in the second year of MCA and M.Sc. IT programmes.

Candidates can join UOU Uttarakhand by qualifying the basic eligibility criteria. The University offers admission to UG level programmes based on the merit based results secured in Class 12. Similarly, for PG level programmes, candidates are required to qualify graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Apart from this, candidates opting for courses that require entrance exam qualification, must secure valid scores in entrance exams stated valid by the University.
