It is known for having a good campus.
Placements: In Usha Martin University, placements are good. The package offered ranges from 2-3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Tech Mahindra, Maa Mahamaya Finance, and Rinex. Roles like sales and business development are offered. The 4-year B.Com (Hons) program fee is approximately 91,95,000 to 92,45,000 as per the 2026-27 schedule.
Infrastructure: Food is overall good. Facilities like labs, classrooms, a library, and Wi-Fi are good. Medical facilities are also available. A gym is available in a hostel. There is a badminton court. I am from B.Com Honours, and I prefer this course. Overall, all things are good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and readily available for academic and career guidance. The focus is on a blend of conceptual and practical knowledge, utilizing real business case studies, industry projects, and seminars. Students have noted that teachers are approachable for solving doubts and providing guidance.
Other: In UMU, fests and events organised are good.

This college has different courses, but not every course is good.
Placements: No BBA LL.B. or even B.A. The LL.B. batch has not passed out yet from this college. The first batch of BBA LL.B. will pass out this year. However, the college has no links with big or famous firms or companies. Very few companies come here for placements, and very few students get placed from this college, as seen in technical departments like B.Tech and even in BBA. A plus point is that the faculty members of legal studies are quite good and educated. The HOD is also very well educated. The college is working for betterment, and hopefully, the placement record will get better.
Infrastructure: For legal studies, we have a separate floor, a separate computer lab, and a library only for law students. We have projectors for a digital way of studying. Tests, viva, assignments and everything happens on time. Attendance, assignment submissions, and everything happen on the college app. About the hostel, the girls' hostel rules and regulations are quite strict, but in the boys' hostel, there's nothing as such. The outing time for girls is 5-7 PM in summer and 4-6 PM in winter (on weekdays), and on weekends from morning till 7 PM. Hostel rooms and mess facilities are good and hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and knowledgeable in legal studies. All the faculty members are very helpful. Regular tests, assignments, viva, and presentations everything happens on time. The level of semester exams is quite tough, and the passing percentage is 33% overall.

It has a good academic foundation, but needs more practical exposure.
Placements: In my batch, no one placed. Some opt for higher studies and some go for other activities. Highest package offered was 4 LPA. Average package offered was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Tech Mahindra, Maa Mahamaya Finance, RInex, etc. They offered us an internship, but we did not go, and they were charging registration fees. Top roles offered by my college were Business Development Executive, Telecaller agent, and Sales agent.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated classrooms with smart boards and projectors for interactive learning. Labs were good, and a big central library. But Wi-Fi facilities were not available for students. Hostel Rooms are available on a shared basis (2/3-seater), equipped with basic furniture, fans, and clean bathrooms. Mess offers hygienic and decent-quality food with a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals on rotation. A separate canteen is available on campus, offering snacks, beverages, and quick meals at affordable prices. College offers good infrastructure, but equipment issuing staff was not available when we went to issue.
Faculty: Faculty members were very supportive, approachable, and always ready to help students with academic and career-related guidance. Not all course curriculum is designed in alignment with current industry requirements. Some are meet. Usually, above 85-90% of students pass every semester.
Other: I chose this course because I have a deep interest in commerce and business studies. I would like to recommend that the college offer more practical things rather than theoretical ones. Annual fests and cultural events are conducted. Diverse and friendly. Students come from various regions, which makes the learning environment dynamic. Government and merit-based scholarships are available for eligible students.

Everything is good on the campus.
Placements: Everything is good and going smoothly because we have supportive staff members in the training and placement department. They help us and support our needs, and also guide students in their own careers and tech. They also guide on placements.
Infrastructure: All things on the campus are good. The conditions of the campus are good.
Faculty: All staff members of my college and the examination department are really good. They help and support students. If students face any problem, then they really help them in a good manner. They are always ready to help us. They are really very kind. All staff members, both teaching and non-teaching staff members, are very good. They always tell students to focus on their career and tech.
Other: I chose this course because it is really good. There should be more productivity in the computing and information technology department.

Good for placements and a good infrastructure with all facilities.
Placements: 80% of students got placed. The highest package is 10 LPA and the lowest package is 1.5 LPA. Internship opportunities at my college are also good. All batch gets good internship opportunities in all fields for their future benefits and if they do great in internships they get an offer for a permanent job.
Infrastructure: Given all facilities Wi-Fi, labs, library, and washing machines are available. The quality of the food in canteen is also good. Medical support is also available 24/7, with extracurricular activities on campus like in-ground gym, basketball, badminton courts, volleyball and a great ground for cricket lovers.
Faculty: All teachers are cooperative with students and they are all qualified and knowledgeable. All curriculum is relevant. Pass percentage is also good. There are practical sessions also and teachers give extra classes for students who are weak in their studies.

Good placement support and practical learning, but curriculum and activities need upgrades.
Placements: Currently pursuing a BCA from Usha Martin University, I’ve found the placement opportunities to be quite promising. Around 70 to 80% of students from our course are placed through campus drives. The highest package offered so far has gone up to 10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 3.5 to 4 LPA. Most of my seniors received packages around 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: As a BCA student at Usha Martin University, I’d say the facilities and infrastructure for our course are quite decent. Our department has well-equipped computer labs with updated systems and internet access. There’s Wi-Fi available across the campus, including in the labs and library, which helps a lot during assignments or project work. The classrooms are spacious and have projectors for smart learning sessions. The university library is also a good resource. It has a wide range of books, journals, and e-resources that we can access for academic use.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in the BCA department at Usha Martin University are quite helpful and approachable. They are well-qualified, with many holding postgraduate or doctoral degrees in their subjects. They’re knowledgeable and usually explain concepts clearly, especially during practical sessions. If we have doubts, they’re open to helping outside class hours too, which I appreciate.
Other: I chose the BCA course at Usha Martin University because I’ve always been interested in technology and wanted to build a career in the IT field. BCA felt like the right choice to start learning about programming, software development, and computer applications in a structured way. Also, the course opens up multiple paths, whether you want to go for higher studies like MCA/MBA or start working right after graduation.
