Placements: B.Sc. in Nursing course at UPUMS has the highest placement rate about 98%. The highest package available is roughly around 12 LPA, but it is primarily for post-graduates. B.Sc. in Nursing graduate entry-level salaries can range from 2-4 LPA. Roles offered are nursing officers, SNO, ANS, etc.

Infrastructure: There are well-equipped labs, comprehensive libraries with Wi-Fi, classrooms with AC, a 24x7 electricity, and classrooms with projector facilities. Hostel facilities are good enough but the food available in the mess is very poor. The canteen provides good services. It also provides services to hostel buildings, proper medical facilities, and ambulances. Sports and games happen occasionally.

Faculty: Teachers of this college are very helpful, knowledgeable, and well-qualified. Most of them are PhD holders. Their teaching quality is very good, and they provide slides and show them in the class through a projector. These all characteristics make students industry-ready for the future. Semester examinations are quite difficult. The pass percentage of the B.Sc Nursing course in UPUMS is approximately 89-90%. In the last year (2023-2024) it was 95.83%.

Other: I think this is the best professional course to choose if we want to give care to the patient and want to earn a good amount of money and this is the reason why I choose this professional course. This course also contains internships at the end of the last semester so I would suggest that students should be paid for that like MBBS students but B.Sc. Nursing students don't get paid for their internships. Events, fests, and extracurricular activities are properly held in this college.

It is the best government college for nursing, and a better environment is provided here.

Placements: 99% of students placed in B.Sc. Nursing. A salary of Rs. 80,000 was provided to students. KGMU was the best hospital for doing a job according to the workload. 65% of students got internships from my college. The staff nurse position was provided after the competitive exam NORCET.

Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi was provided in the college. Classrooms, laboratories, and libraries were the best. Moderate quality facilities were available in the college, like food and electricity. Sports was another facility provided every year. Facilities provided in the hostel were the best.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality, I would say, was perfect. In this course, students had to practice how things really worked in the hospital. The semester exams prepared by teachers were at a moderate level, but in other cases, they were easy.

Other: The scope of this course is high.
