UTU is a life-changing college in Uttarakhand.
Placements: About 70% of students get placed. Almost all students get placements, but here I am talking about good placements. The highest package is 24 LPA, the lowest package is 2–3 LPA, and TCS offers packages of around 5–6 LPA. Internships are not provided by the college, so students have to find internships on their own. Top roles offered are Software Engineer for IT students and Sales Executive for non-IT students.
Infrastructure: High-speed internet is available. Labs are available for all required subjects. Classrooms are well-maintained. The library remains open for about 12 hours a day. The mess food is good, but not excellent. Medical facilities are available. Sports facilities are also good. The college supports talented sports students and sends them to North Zone competitions.
Faculty: Teachers are good and qualified. The teaching quality varies from one teacher to another. The curriculum helps make students industry-ready. To pass, students need to score at least 60 marks out of 150, including both internal and external marks. Students must score at least 30 marks in the external semester exam (out of 100) and 30 marks in the internal exam (out of 50).

If you are looking for a government college, you can join here. Otherwise, I would not prefer it.
Placements: Around 25 students are placed this year. The highest package is around 8 LPA, and the lowest is around 3 LPA. Companies like Coloured Cow, Infosys, and many other startups visit the campus. About 60 percent of students are placed in Infosys, Coloured Cow, etc. The roles offered include Software Engineer, Data Scientist, and AI Engineer, but many of the offers are on a 2.5-year contract.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is good, but there are still old systems. The classrooms are good, and the library is also good. Hostel food is not that good, but it is fine. All other facilities, like electricity, are available. But the water facility is not available 24/7, though it is sufficient for use.
Faculty: Some teachers are good, while some are not. Some try to help students improve, but some do not teach effectively. Some subjects are relevant, while some are not. Semester exams are not very difficult, but the marking is not very good.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become an AI/ML engineer. There is a need to remove irrelevant subjects like UHV. Events and fests happen annually.

Yes, you may get admission in Uttarakhand Technical University aka Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University with 75% in Class 12.
