The university conducts entrance exams for admission to courses, including BFA, BPT, BOPTM, BSc (Nursing), etc. Admission to the MBBS course at VNSGU is based on the NEET-UG score. Veer Narmad South Gujarat University accepts national-level exam scores for PG course admissions. For MBA, the CAT/CMAT score is accepted. While MD and MS courses admissions are through NEET-PG.

VNSGU offers 30+ courses at UG, PG, diploma, certificate and doctoral level. These courses are offered in the fields of Business & Management Studies, Science, Humanities & Social Science, Accounting & Commerce, Mass Communication & Media, Architecture & Planning, etc., among various others.
